@shelbywilkerson23511 ай бұрын
It reminds me of my husband who passed away suddenly at 46 from cardiac arrest and just how comforting it would've been for someone to leave a light on for me; instead of my world going silent after his celebration of life😢. But that's what music is it means different things to everyone. As I keep saying I can't play this song enuf. Thanx guys!

I was there for my boyfriend when 2 of his family members committed suicide. He was there for me too during some struggles in life. We broke up because he grew distant, and I had no idea how to help him. The more I reached out the less he wanted me. This song still reminds me of him and I still listen to it and pray for him. I still love him and hope he's doing well. 😢

Papa Roach will always be my all-time favorite (along with Linkin Park). Not only were they my gateway into Rock and Metal, they were the first rock concert I ever went to. Most importantly, they made me feel okay to feel the way I do inside. When you struggle with depression, and no one else around you does, it is so isolating. So bands being honest about their struggles is so important, and it really helped me feel seen, understood, and not so alone. Honestly, I don't know if I would still be here today without these bands. So I will always be a ride or die Papa Roach fan! Last Resort is literally my Ringtone right now, lol 🤘🏾🫶🏾🤘🏾.

I do love Jacoby's being so straightforward and true when tackling such delicate issues. I understand his wanting to help other people(and himself too)... it's what I try to do myself. I guess it comes from the fact that everybody at some point in their lives face something that's bigger than them and need to figure out how to sort it. Jacoby's humanity shows each and everytime he speaks and performs his beautiful music. That's why I've always liked him... He really knows what being in a dark place is like as well as he knows that even in the darkest days you can find a reason to keep living and fighting. Thanks P Roach for being a beacon of hope for many people.❤

We all as a whole need to be more vulnerable and also share the uncomfortable conversations with one another and holding space for others and ourselves. As we can be so addicted to just helping others too. Its so important to listen to those who are struggling with something however. 💞

I found Last Resort when it was first released. It came out during a time in my life when I couldn't get away from the abuse, too many years of darkness. I remember playing it on repeat during my darkest times to get through those moments. 🖤 Thank you for helping me get through and in a way saving me. And then, Leave a Light On, this song hit deep and brought back all those past memories. Reminding me of how far I have come from those early years to now, after I had the courage to get away from my Mother. So again, thank you for sharing your musical talents and being there from the beginning reminding me (and others like me) that I am not alone in this struggle. 💜
