Ouch! If you turn the box lock over on the Jacoje and rather than pressing on the flat part which is the back of the lock. Press on the protruding part of the tongue, which acts like a button, and your box lock will open much easier.

It hurts to watch you open that lock the way you did. Flip the lock around has a flat spot which is the button press that and it would open very easily. pulling it apart the way you did it isn’t recommended. Enjoy your chains. Great and fair review. Thanks

Jacoje's Cuban links are overpriced compared to actual Cuban link jewelers. Also Jacojes cubans are imported from Italy. I think one of the most exciting parts about ordering a real Miami Cuban link is that you know it's being handmade specifically for you by craftsmen in Florida.
@Odat Жыл бұрын
I’d rather have a machine made Italian chain than a hand made American chain. Italians are bar none the best manufactures of jewelry on earth. I’ve owned dozens of pieces in 18k, 21k, 22k from all over the world(UAE, Turkish, Indian, Peru, Italy and US). Italians are the best at it!!.
@Odat Жыл бұрын
@@MannyRosales-fi4ff 9 out of 10 times, an Italian machine made chain will outshine and be of better quality than a hand made chain. Sure there are really good hand made chains but they are very rare. Italians are just pros at making beautiful jewelry. I’ve owned over 100 pieces over the years(nothing less than 18k) and that’s been my experience. Even my pt950 platinum Italian chain and bracelet are the most beautiful platinum prices I’ve owned and I’ve owned a lot. Get what makes you happy.
@Odat Жыл бұрын
@@MannyRosales-fi4ff maybe it’s specific to the Miami link. Most of what I own now are Franco and figaro chains in 18k and 22k and the machine made Italians where always superior to the handmade ones I ordered. They were perfection in tightness and shine. So do you think if I get a Miami link from Daniels in 3mm, it would be top notch?.

Jacoje doesn't make the chains. He is a middleman. Them jacoje chains are machine made with a casted box lock. Daniels jewelry is all handmade that's why the box lock and link near the lock is tighter.

@dukeyin1111 Жыл бұрын
Daniel's has a sturdier box lock, probably not casted. But on a practical point of view, Jacoje box lock is more practical(?): Not overly bulky looking (more flush with the chain) and the lack of button actually doesn't bother neck much or flip the chain when it is behind the neck. If I get Daniel's probably I would go with sleek lock.

7:51, please for the love of god tell me you already figured out how to unlock the jacoje chain. You are not supposed to pull. You are supposed to press down on the right side and that would make it unlock it self,and then you just pull it. I do own an original Italian 14k bracelet and this is the same style of lock. Has never broke in 15 years. Also I actually doubt any piece of jewelery in the states comes from Italy even if it says Italy on it. Anyone can engrave that, in Europe they don't stamp gold in K,they use the hundreds, just like my 14k bracelet is stamped 585, not 14k. And I bought in Canada in a boutique again in 2007, back when there was still pieces of jewelery coming from Italy. I personally bought for my self and my wife some fine European bracelets back in 2006,2007 in Cuba, and that was because of European tourist specially Italians who were traveling to Cuba on vacation, falling in love with cuban girls and giving them expensive chains as gift ,chains that the girls would sell to pown shops later on and I would buy them for $12,$13 per gram 14k and 18k . Again I don't believe the jacoje chains are really from Italy,but that lock is definitely how it is supposed to come if it is from Italy. The fact it is stampe in K is what makes me believe it is not from Europe. I could be wrong.
