Kallis a great batter and bowler. But Kallis played majority of his test cricket in SA that has pitches that favour fast bowlers. Zaher khan played most of his test cricket in India which favours spin bowling. Hence the difference in wickets. If zaheer played the majority of test matches in SA condition the wicket count would be much more than what it is.

@@sushilshewale5660 Championships doesn’t define a player’s quality. If Sachin or Kohli were in Kenya or Zimbabwe they wouldn’t have been in top teams that means They are not among top players. Sachin was considered Great only after 2011 wasn’t he reckoned as God of Cricket before 2011. No player can single handedly win championships. What makes you a great players is your impact and contributions to the game. That’s where Kallis stands out from everyone

@@sushilshewale5660 Dear friend, comparing two totally different era players is incorrect, because of totally different strengths of opposition and even own team strength, and different game culture & fieldset rules in different era formats. Kindly understand that you're criticizing a player who has been fairly consistent in his 18 years career otherwise he wouldn't have been in team for such long time. And team win is always based on team performance and not individual player performance, so just check the team performance in all icc events to know the truth. Kallis was a real special player he is without a doubt the best all rounder in the history of cricket. Especially batting all rounder nobody gets even close to his stats. As a batsman he gets into any team in the history of the sport as bowler he gets into any team in the history of the game as well pretty much. He was exceptional. Batting master only third to probably Tendulkar and Lara.

Sachin had tennis elbow injury between 2004-2007. He wasnt a top order batsman for the first 30 odd tests he played. He was out of form and didn't score a single century in last 25 matches of his test career. And Sachin also has 46 test wickets and he was a part timer who didnt bowl even in 200 innings out of 329 innings. Sachin's average was near to 60 between 75 th to 100 th test. Then it started dropping. But he maintained it to 56 until 175 tests and 54 until 200 tests. And sachin has more 50+ scores , he has 68 50+ scores and kallis has 58. Kallis averages 55.8 after 166 tests. Tendulkar averaged 57.2 after 166 tests and 56.4 after 175 tests. He finally finished at 53.8 at 200 tests. Because of his flu in england tour, out of form in aus tour , his average dropped. Sachin was not needed to bowl like kallis. He also has 154 odi wickets as a part timer
