If milestones are to be made, always organise a series against India. The bowlers would love to more than oblige. For a long time, they were in the team to just make up the numbers. Of course, things are changing a bit. But, the lack of consistency would still allow the players from the other team to get the odd milestone in.

You are right, a FINE cricketer, a gentleman of the game, never flashy or outlandish, definitely not arrogant, never involved in a scandal. When he was mouthing something to the heavens at 12:59 he was probably talking to his dad. Consider this: 13 289 test runs, 292 test wickets, 200 test catches, 11 579 ODI runs, 273 ODI wickets. I wish he could have played on to reach 300 test wickets. God bless him and his wife and his baby son.

SuperSport you got this wrong, quantity does not always equal quality. I think his best knock in that series was in Newlands, is to guide SA to safely from the precarious position of 64/4 98/5 and 130/6 that is the best, without that Indian would have probably knocked out SA for under 180 and probably romped home to a test and series wins. That was the crowning moment. In this test India probably underperformed causing SA to pile on the miesery.

Sreedhar Nithin He has every record of wicket keeper by Indian. He is retired for 4 years I think India have found a brilliant batsmen wicket keeper who performs outside India with 45 average. Oh!!
