The fact that Will Smith was laughing at the joke at first and then suddenly smacked the hell out of Chris Rock definitely makes me ask questions. Plus, that woman isn't the best- she did admit to cheating on Will Smith and left him in tears on television sooooo yeah.
@cyberovaries2 жыл бұрын
Or MAYBE.... maaybe... he was slow to get the joke at first. lmfaoo Jada initially was smiling too, until she got the reference and rolled her eyes since Im sure its not the first lame joke she hears about her being bald. And you're missing a crucial part of the story, SHE was the only one who was OPEN and transparent about her relationship with that guy, which btw happened while she was separated from Will so idk how that counts as cheating. While Will has had multiple affairs throughout the marriage without being honest and open. Hence why most people don't know about it. Just because she was mature enough to tell it like it was doesn't mean Will didn't cheat on her. lmao

Lmaooo you're going fully delusional. Never go fully delusional. He has had multiple relationships with other women while married to Jada. He even said one of his biggest wishes is to live in a harem of women if I remember correctly, something along those lines. I mean even in that Red Table Talk he makes a joke about getting Jada back for her relationship (while they were separated btw, she didnt cheat on him while together) and then Jada smirked and told him that he already got her plenty, to which he agreed. Meaning that he already had slept with other women. How is she the bad one? You just have an issue with women. lmao
@SapphireBurns2 жыл бұрын
@@kensyskye8965 thank you. Like wtf? She had sex with someone while they were separated and people called him a cuck for letting it slide when they weren't even together and but people wanted to come for jada saying that she cheated on him, make rumors about them swinging and such and etc. And then now that he decided to slap chris Rock after seeing the joke made her uncomfortable, she is getting blamed for him going up to smack Chris rock? Like her not being amused by the joke didn't mean jada made him do it. Shes not obligated to laugh at a joke about her being bald (due to alopecia from an auto immuno disorder) and will didn't have to go and slap chris rock for her. People just want to hate on this family for everything because they break tradition. They came for their kids when they started expressing gender fluidity and started doing stuff that made people with more conservative family values uncomfortable. People wanted a reason to come for their family like they've been doing non stop this past decade and will slapping chris rock was enough for them write him off as the bad guy along with his wife and then knowing the internet, they'll try to cancel their kids too who weren't even involved with the incident 😒. Like people need to get a life cause they love to talk about celebrities personal lives and assume rumors are true and then use that as fuel to tear them down just because they are jealous of success and the privilege that's comes with it.

Enough of Jada and Will pretending that their reactions had to do with anything other than their egos. First of all, Jada is not embarrassed by her super mild case of alopecia. She literally made videos about it. She chose a hairstyle that would accentuate it. Most people who are upset about it choose hairstyles to hide it. Not to mention, she had almost the same haircut in the early 90s and then again in 1997. I don't think she was upset about the alopecia. It was more about how dare YOU make fun of ME. Who do you think you are? Oh, the arrogance. For those who don't know, alopecia areata is hair loss. It doesn't cause other harm to the body. It doesn't kill you. It is usually treatable. It sometimes resolves on its own without any treatment. Everyone should feel free to look up alopecia areata and then look at the condition of her hair at the Academy Awards. Seriously. Is she really a victim? She fixed her nose. She fixed her cheeks. If her hair bothered her, wouldn't this multimillionaire have gotten that fixed? Jada likes attention. Even Will's behavior... protect her from WHAT? A person daring to tease her? His slap and his verbal outburst said, How DARE you? Who do you think you are? "Keep MY wife's name out of YOUR (effing) mouth. What narcissists. She's here for the healing of her own ego... like when she was sleeping with her son's friend.

Did I want to slap them???? yesssssssss did I? nooooo! And this was in the privacy so I really could've of. I also was on steroids, medications and still didn't slap them like I really wanted because it was ongoing taunting not a one liner about empowered GI Jane and putting others in a state of shock and discomfort globally when they're coming to an awards show, when other performers have worked years of blood sweat tears to get their acknowledgments especially summer of soul which tapes were placed in a basement for 50 years. As Aretha sang You better think (think) Think about what you're trying to do to me, to (adding all of us. You're also a person in a place of influence and with that comes responsibility, accountability. And this affected all of us, those watching, the other performers who put years, their lives, globally, the kids watching who didn't show up for that. I usually consider both/all sides. Violence isn't the solution especially not at this age and you have all the resources to get help and support while many struggling don't. Because I’m a film buff, I begrudgingly watched King Richard last night. I was blown away by Will Smith’s performance. He so deserved the Oscar for his performance. I often forgot that I was watching a portrayal of a very public figure. How terribly sad that Smith chose to slap Chris Rock for a relatively tame joke at an event that honors film greatness, that was one of the biggest nights of his life, and where poking fun at Hollywood’s elite has been a part of the event since the days of Bob Hope hosting. With his actions, he undermined an incredible performance in King Richard, the exceptional work of the cast, director, writers and crew, and create a lunar eclipse that darkened the other nominees and winners, most notably Questlove’s Oscar win for the incredible Summer of Soul. He continued his poor choices with a woes me acceptance speech, followed by celebrating as if it was just another great day to be a Hollywood A lister. Smith appears to be struggling with his marriage based on his wife’s admittedly poor choices, and her seemingly endless desire to make it all public. In the film King Richard, Richard Williams spends a great deal of his time protecting his family. Maybe some of that character remained with Smith. Instead of protecting his family, he made them a laughing stock. I would hate to be his publicist right now.

After 48 hours of unpacking I think Will’s actions and tears were all a reflection of his inner turmoil. Something is not right. He is not okay. He was totally out of control. If Jada is polyamorous, modern, and independent why didn’t she stand up for herself. Will could have just STOPPED LAUGHING and held his wife’s hand in support til the moment passed and dealt with it later in a calm mature manner with his modern wife taking the lead in educating Chris about alopecia, which he probably didn’t know about. Total drama that upset everyone and ruined his own moment. His speech made no sense. He was blindly trying to rationalize what he had just done by attempting to link it up with his great achievement and it was so sad and painful to watch. I was rooting for him. I loved the movie and his performance was stellar. We all have to learn how to respond and not react. Reacting gives some kind of dysfunctional feeling of safety in the moment but the crash afterward is devastating. He partied all night dissociated from his true feelings. My guess is he is in agony right now. What a mess we can make when we do not practice restraint. Chris showed restraint and even though I didn’t love the snarky roasting tone of the evening I do admire him for his self-control. He took the high road and demonstrated grace under pressure.

Jada is the real monster in all of this. Will was laughing at Chris’ joke until Jada rolled her eyes. She has played Will for their entire marriage. Will ruined what would have been the highlight of his career just to try and please her; heck they may even take away his Oscar for it. When Denzel said that the devil will come for Will, I think he was referring to Jada.
@carljensen57302 жыл бұрын
They absolutely SHOULD take away his Oscar, right after they charge him with assault and battery. Regardless of whether Chris Rock presses charges (of course, he won't), it is in the public interest for audience members at every comedy show to know that if you assault the performer, you will be charged.

This is such a sad and misguided action by one of the nicest good guys in H'wood. His first reaction to the comment (laughter), was the right one and shows his natural wisdom and goodness. Unfortunately for him his wife... The woman who makes out she's a strong independent black woman, suddenly decides whilst the cameras are on her to become a poor defenceless woman incapable of defending or speaking up for herself and needing a man to fight her battles for her. Well done Jada for pulling the women's movement back by 100 years and showing little girls all over the world that you need a man to exert violence to defend your honour. 🙄 This is my eye roll to you for that! I also find it interesting how you have said and done nothing to defend or support the man who defended you and tarnished his rep for you. The truest colours that were shown that night were the dignity and maturity of Chris Rock and the manipulative attention seeking insecurity of Jada PS.

@@jenniferladd3427 In an emotional and mentally abusive relationship, its not as easy just to "get out". Will is a human just like any other person, and is in a situation where other abused partners can speak on his behalf. No one even knows for sure if they are in an open marriage, since Jada has said on her platform that they arent. However, it is known that she feels no remorse regarding her cheating that she passed off as an "entanglement". Also, she has admitted or at least implied that Tupac was the true love of her life and no matter what Will does, he can never live up to it. I in no way feel sorry for Will's actions, and he should receive the consequences, but I do feel bad for him and his position. Not many will understand. This situation was far far deeper than what it seems on surface level. Just three years ago, Will Smith was one of the most revered and admired men across the world. Since then, he had been the butt of every joke and become completely emasculated by the world and especially his wife when she disrespected him. I have had alopecia areata for years. Will's actions are inexcusable. Alopecia areata comes and goes. Sticks and stones love, sticks and stones. I cannot condone anyone presenting this simple autoimmune "disorder" as a "battle". I also work in the medical field and cannot abide reporters postulation that Jada is "battling" alopecia. Its like saying you are battling acne. Its irritating but not life threatening. Cancer and aids are a battle, a mortal battle where you either live or die once the disease has run its full course. Alopecia effects your appearance in an unsettling way but it is not life threatening in her or in mine. I bought a six pack of beer once I realized I had to shave my head to cover my splotchy hair loss. I shaved my head, drank a couple of beers and had a new talking point. Sack up. You are an otherwise healthy and beautiful person. Your ego is the real comorbidity. A simple search reveals there is a lot more going on in Will and Jada's lives than an impromptu comedy club joke. The karma comes much later. His projects are beginning to be dumped and cancelled. You can't run away from slapping a host on his face and on live TV. Chris has all his shows sold out he will be fine.

@ C Y, I agree. Karma is in the works right now. This will end up haunting the Smiths. Guarantee it.

The point is they both hurt each other however he loved his wife still no matter what they had been through, Jada is his wife and baby mother. this is to stop Chris rock from joking around about people's relationships and this is to teach will smith to take criticism and be stronger in life

Will was laughing his head off at Rock's joke along with everyone else, until Jada rolled her eyes!??! Ridiculous! 🙄

Very proud of Chris Rock on how he handled himself. It takes a lot of strength love and kindness to not react after being humiliated like that!

There’s another angle video of her laughing when will hit him
@olgaordina2 жыл бұрын
watching it live I don't think anyone thought Will will hit Chris. I think Chris thought Will was going to say something, or add to the presentation, or something more fun that they would usually do. It was completely out of left field. And by the look on other people's faces I think they thought it was a bit until they realized it wasn't. Usually at award shows there are always unexpected bits that happen and take people by surprise, that's why nobody was prepared for this.

exactly, cause she wanted the attention. She's a narcissist. So you have Alopecia, and you're struggling with baldness. So what? You're not bedridden and dying from cancer or hideously disfigured. Just go out and buy a wig. Get off your high horse, we all saw you at the after party having a great time while Chris Rock was attending to a burning face because of you.

she revealed her hairloss in public she was clearly not ashamed about it on her video when she was revealing it she was even making jokes and laughing about she doesn't appear to be sad she was smiling on the video. Then when a comedian make joke about it which is not wven a bad joke you get upset!? if you don't want people to make joke about your hairloss situation then you should have stayed home hiding on your closet.. you should have keep it a secret.. go out in public, attend gatherings, attend awards night using a a wig or fake hair. why reveal it and get upset when people make joke about it specially a comedian. Chris joke wasn't even bad.. it's more like a motivation that despite your hairloss you can end having a role on a movie because of it.

I lost my hair at 21, it happens for some people. I get jokes from my friends and I laugh at it. Life isn't so serious! These celebrities are ridiculous. The Oscars is and has been a joke for years. They sit in multi million dollar mansions and get offended by the mildest things.... I hope Will takes a long hard look in the mirror for what he did to Chris Rock and makes it up to him.
@fabio64662 жыл бұрын
Exactly, and if you are unable to cope with the hair loss, if you're a woman, you can also wear wigs.. Like I get it is a very sensitive subject but it's not that deep in the end

Balding isn't a disability. It's absolutely ludacris that they are using her hair loss to play victim. Meanwhile there are millions of women with very serious autoimmune disorders that will die from them. There are millions who live in utter agony daily, just trying to get through this life. They don't have access to the best medical care or the ability to hire help when they are so sick they can't get out of bed. But we are supposed to care about Jada's sensitivity over her hair loss. These two are completely tone deaf in their little protected bubble.
@emhu25942 жыл бұрын
Jada flaunts her bald head then has an aneurysm when someone mentions it. That whole family is toxic. Will Smith should have been ejected right then.
