Kodak you may be right in most cases. My sons 25 and he grew up listening to what I bumped. He knows D Block, vintage Hov, Mobb Deep, Pharaoh, Talib etc. he can school lotsa old heads on hip hop history. The kids you’re referring to started listening to hip hop recently.

My lil niece is only 20yr old & she only bump this type of stuff. She being fucking with Hiphop since she was 15 & her favorite rapper is kendrick lamar, Styles P, Lupe fiasco & She also loves Nas & I didn't even have to put her on on it but one day she was just on KZbin & she saw a snoop Dogg video & she liked it & decided to check out more dope rappers that KZbin recommended. She did her own homework & I was blown away that she knows so much good music & she can't stand mumble rap. So age doesn't matter my G. Its about your mind set & what interests you.

Like everyone elses album I listened to this year it just sounded like they were forcing themselves over beats and forcing flows and the bars were just not smooth and they were very erratic. Jadakiss sounded like he never lost a step like it was day one and he was back 10 years ago. This is one of the last good artist you will ever hear again. Kendrick is great lyrically but he does nothing for me because his lyrics often are all over the place
