@@luzcalderon7808 Eh. 1. Azul was saying that to appeal to Jamil 2. Azul is canonically riddled with insecurities, that man doesn't really believe that anyone likes him 3. If the twins were ever gonna leave, they would've done it already. They would've done it when he was a kid in the coral sea sobbing because of how he was treated. They would've done it after his overblot when he was weak and at his lowest. They would've done it when he came to the surface and hid everything about who he used to be. The twins probably will leave him if he gets boring but they'll almost definitely never find him boring. It'd be like them finding each other boring.

2:24 i saw a theory about this bit. because the whole implied mafia thing, some people theorize that someone broke in to the tweel's house (because if they really are the fish mafia, there are definitely some people with grudges) when they were either about to hatch (bc eels lay eggs) or had just hatched. and the whole thing about jade "choosing floyd" is that jade only had time to save one sibling and he saved floyd and the intruders killed all the other eel babies. this or a similar situation is supported by the line jade had in the sledathon event about how jade implies that he had more siblings when they all are talking about their families. sorry if the wording is weird or bad but i thought this theory was super cool and its what i personally headcanon as what happened
