@luzcalderon7808 Azul is pretty safe as far as the subtext can be read - the tweels were the ones to approach him first, because they liked that kid Azul was already conning their own classmates and hurting them. What they find fun about Azul is his cunning, his shrewdness, his ruthlessness and smarts. And Azul isn't planning on abandoning these traits of his anytime soon, so...

Considering how they both show some concern for Azul the moment he starts overblotting screams that there may be something there than what it seems. NRC boys are infamous for being hypocrites.

@@luzcalderon7808 Eh. 1. Azul was saying that to appeal to Jamil 2. Azul is canonically riddled with insecurities, that man doesn't really believe that anyone likes him 3. If the twins were ever gonna leave, they would've done it already. They would've done it when he was a kid in the coral sea sobbing because of how he was treated. They would've done it after his overblot when he was weak and at his lowest. They would've done it when he came to the surface and hid everything about who he used to be. The twins probably will leave him if he gets boring but they'll almost definitely never find him boring. It'd be like them finding each other boring.

I think that neither floyd or jade being older is a nice nod to the fact they are eels, which produce eggs. So if both of them hatched at the same time neither would be older or younger.

A little fun (terrifying) fact about morays: they have a second set of jaws hidden in their throats. They use them to hunt. Once they've secured their prey with their "main" jaws, they use the second set to pull it down their throats.

@azulovebot Tfw Twst itself hints at the Dead/Cannibalized Baby Leech Brothers theory + Flashbacks to an old Leech parents fanfic that showed them "having sex" in this manner - concentrating enough so that they could shoot sperm and eggs into the water the latter of which underwent the fertilization process.

It’s also because in different events Floyd and Jade said they’re mistaken seeing each other after coming across someone who bares a strong resemblance to them personally I feel it could be a finding nemo situation where Their parents had many other eggs but after a tragic event Floyd and jades eggs were the only ones left

During the Stitch event, there's a vignette where Floyd mentions his parents ran a few shops on land and that kids aren't allowed to go into said shops, if I remember correctly. It left me thinking about what kind of business their mafia parents run.

2:24 i saw a theory about this bit. because the whole implied mafia thing, some people theorize that someone broke in to the tweel's house (because if they really are the fish mafia, there are definitely some people with grudges) when they were either about to hatch (bc eels lay eggs) or had just hatched. and the whole thing about jade "choosing floyd" is that jade only had time to save one sibling and he saved floyd and the intruders killed all the other eel babies. this or a similar situation is supported by the line jade had in the sledathon event about how jade implies that he had more siblings when they all are talking about their families. sorry if the wording is weird or bad but i thought this theory was super cool and its what i personally headcanon as what happened
