cater is so interesting to me, i wish a lot of people would stop taking his flirting at face value and give a deeper look into the unseriousness/ lack of actual intent behind his words😭 Like, I don't think he's actually seriously feeling anything romantic towards any of the main characters at any point in time, and this isn't a bad thing - it gives further insight into his reluctance towards actual bonds with others. Like, where did he adapt that kind of thinking? When did he first get into magicam? Has he been this frivolous since he decided he would never try and make a true friend, or was it a coping mechanism that gradually came to the surface? Did he follow a specific person's example, or did he come up with this persona for himself? For even the people he's closer with, does he act the way he does as some sort of awkward attempt at being better friends in the only way he knows - shallow compliments that ultimately never touch upon their character, but their appearance? I'm hoping we see a good amount of drama in his dream world, cause I feel bad for this guy. I genuinely hope he can have at least one lifelong friend coming out of NRC, and I hope even moreso that he realizes that others are not as far away as he's scared of them being. likely not going to happen, but I would like for him to think on Yuu's situation as opposed to his own - perhaps realizing that, so long as he truly tries, he can keep in touch with his friends unlike an otherworlder. Not for a 'pity me' moment for yuu (although it would be nice if they could bond over similar feelings regarding this) but to show him that he doesn't have to be as resolved in his loneliness as he is. Sometimes people drift apart, and that's ok. It doesn't mean you can't be friends again!

I don’t know if the protagonists gender is not described. He’s clearly a guy. No one makes a comment on how the main character is a girl, no one treats him different from the other students. Also “Kimi” is used to describe the protagonist. It seems kinda awkward to use that if you’re not talking to a guy. Also nonbinary isn’t a thing. So that’s out.

I hope they don't downplay Lilia's relationship with Meleanor and Raverne in the upcoming story. The characters' sexualities aren't a big deal for me, but EN beating around the bush with the lore is annoying...

Also need to remind everyone of Jamil’s out of place rap solo in “Absolutely Beautiful” where the lyrics are suspiciously about “intertwining thorns”, a “clock that starts to turn”, “a cold suspicious gaze”, “taking damage”, “not being saved”, and “if the heart is real or counterfeit”

I always knew that Ace and Cater were the main flirters in the entire game, but knowing that Cater only does this to hide his feelings half the time, kinda makes me feel bad for him. Knowing that he has to deal with his sisters, and that one close friend he once had etc. Still I love his character regardless of his cute flirty personality. 😊✌️ #CaterDiamond♦

Funny enogh i wouldnt say cater is flirtatyous, if there has to be labeled a word to him, the word flamboyant fells more fitting to me. The video points it out rather good with cater acting like a circus preformer, all chibbi and comes across as upbeat with all the hazhtag speaking and there lays the "mask" but when the few times you see him alone its all down quet and deep thoughtfull person you get to see instead.

This is a concept I´ve seen so many times that deserves more attention. Add this to his dislike of his sisters, give him too much stress. Ding ding ding we get another overblotter. Hopefully we see more abt him in Ch 7

Between all of this and Ace making those rather flirty comments to the prefect (about how he mentioned that he should sleep in the same bed as them twice and the "we can stay up talking all night"), they're pansexual disasters, I love them for it. xD

It's possible MC is in a coma back on earth (after being hit by a vehicle like all the others) and TWST is some kind of dream world/purgatory that exists on another plane (think kind of like Neverland or Oz) Yuu's choices leading up that climax with the obvious corrupted Grimm from the prologue will determine if they get to "live" (be sent back to earth) or their soul will be eradicated and the world will reset with another Yuu (also connecting this to the time loop theory)

The way I see it, I feel like the system is messed up. You see, the system is making Kalim think that Jamil is doing the things Kalim wants because in his head, Kalim wholeheartedly believes Jamil has the choice in doing so; He thinks that Jamil is doing the thing because Jamil wants to. What Kalim doesn't realize is that Jamil doesn't really have a choice. The system has destroyed them both, in the sense, it has covered Kalim from the truth, and forced Jamil to follow a destiny that has already been decided for him. It also made Kalim completely oblivious to reality, which may be why he tends to be impulsive and doesn't think about his actions. This idea of the Sultan having to be the best at everything is very traumatizing for Jamil, and I feel like the same is said in a lot of caste systems. I think Kalim and Jamil are both victims of a messed up system that prevented them from making their own choices and being true friends.
