Jason invited me down again to crush some rocks! First we took some semi precious Gem Stones, like Jade, Jasper and Rhodonite, and made large chips for my lapidary tumbling bags. The we ran two buckets of Gold bearing quartz ore, which we then processed on the shaker table and used a gold pan to recover the gold. Was such a fun day processing my gemstones and gold.

Thanks for the shoutout to those of us (or maybe only me?) that want to see googly eyes on the jaw crusher. I know they would probably only last one or two runs with all the rock smashing around, but that crusher just looks too much like an angry face eating rocks to miss the opportunity!
@UmmmmmmmWhat
@UmmmmmmmWhat Жыл бұрын
Eyebombing it's angry mug is 100% necessary. There might be a fan with a home machine shop that could whip up "industrial strength googly eyes" out of some scrap lexan and steel, then they'd really be fit for "the beast" 😆

This is Denine from Berlin, WI …. I have an old book called “ Hunting For Gold “ By Major William Downie . That I bought from an antique shop, in Appleton WI . Along with an old gold panning pan. Anyway, the book was originally a journal, written back in 1893, and then published into book form in 1971. And I will send you pics of it. I am in the middle of the book now, and he talks about areas of British Of Columbia…. I’m wondering if it would help you find where you would like to be, or, just for history sake, if what he was finding, would help strengthen your finds. Very interesting book to say the least. Very easy read, and so many great interesting stories about people he runs into throughout his journey. Pics coming your way. Not sure if you are a big reader at all, but I know I don’t have anyone in my family that has any interest in it. So if you would like the book 📕, I’ll just give it to you, it’s yours ! Love 💕 watching your videos and all ! And at some point, I will purchase some rocks from your online shop. Get back to me with a yay or nay. Nice chatting with you ! Dee
