I’m jealous!! I just lost my big leaf jade to a tornado that came through the backyard 😢 All I could find in my area was teeny tiny cuttings.

That is actually a sweet find. I'm sure the Jade will do well under your care. I also have a cluster of Jades, not sure what to do with them so I'll notice every time you work on one..

Most definitely a killer find, sweet score. That holly, just treat it like a broad leaf evergreen and you’ll be fine, keep them coming

I never see dwarf jade plants over here. Also I've never seen the variagated ones that you have. I'd definitely love to get one of them! You must have so many plants Jboo!

Aw man that’s crazy I feel like dwarfs jades should be sold like all over the place because they’re so resilient , yeah I love dwarf jades and have quite a bit of them, one plant that we don’t get over here is ficus benjamina and I would love to get one of those for bonsai but the only ones they sell over here are twigs!

@@JboosPlants_Bonsai Crikey... I can get them 3 even 4 feet tall! Mind you, mostly theyd be around 2 feet but they're very common here in the UK as a house plant.

@@marionsworld24oh wow yeah haha, the only ficus I’ve seen over here are ginsengs and they’re all very small, the big ficus’ I have are all from elsewhere.

That jade is incredible. Subbed! The bigger leaves aren't so much have an issue as you can just prune for ramification in the future. I understand your logic going in though.

You mentioned that it was a hot day. I’m wondering what part of the country you’re in? I live in the desert south west where it gets super hot in summer-well over 100ºF every day, with several days going over 120º every summer. When I moved here from LA I brought a giant Crassula with me, thinking it would be very happy in the heat. It didn’t even last halfway through August before the plant seemed to implode and turn into a messy puddle in its giant pot. I was so sad! I’ve since learned that the portulacaria afra, what you called miniature jade, can take all the heat you can throw at it, while the crassula cannot.

Yeah this past summer I lost a lot of crassulas because of the heat, mine also seemingly imploded, it was very unfortunate however my Portulacarias were living their best lives
