Aquamarine Swoosh | Mandala dot art tutorial for rock painting beginners

In this aquamarine swoosh mandala rock panting mandala tutorial I create several potential stopping points for a mandala. You can almost stop anywhere in the tutorial and have an elegant mandala. I used just 4 acrylic paints and one glitter and it's perfectly enough. This aquamarine color just screams classy! Does classy scream? ha! I hope you enjoy this simple and easy guide to a nice mandala painted on a rock.
When I goofed up in the beginning I painted another coat of white. I should have done two. I could still see the goof up through the white paint. My experience has led me to know that when I resin it... it's going to stand out like a sore thumb. So, I kept dotting to camouflage it. Works every time :) wink! There was great debate around here about this rock. I wish I would have stopped… the kiddo agreed… my mom said we were both crazy and loved the end result 😂😂😂. Something for everyone I guess.

I was immediately scared and intrigued when you painted the base white….it’s such a challenging color to paint on………..but your freaking nailed the PERFECT colors…….they are STUNNING 💛🤍💙. Those swooshes are the MOST BEAUTIFUL I’ve ever seen, for that reason, only, I would have stopped at that point BUT having said that and understanding why you continued on, your natural talent to create shines as you did a cover up that kept the beauty and opened up possibilities for using this design on a larger rock………imagine another set of those PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL swooshes as the final rows❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Have you ever thought about using folkart aquamarine gold for this piece? Because I think that it would have set off some of the other folkart treasure paint as well. But I am going to try this one out sooner or later.

That Treasure Gold Paint is pretty pricey, but oh so pretty!

@@MHarenArt sure is!! I got a 4 pack on Amazon of different golds.. wasn’t too bad. But the regular gold is at Walmart for 7ish? But it’ll last you a long time. If you want a good cheaper gold then I love the Inca!
