Don’t worry, I am not one of stupid fans that wanted Jaden Ivey traded. They don’t have the eye test or know the context of the Pistons situation. Ivey has so much talent and is the second star next to Cade Cunningham. It’s worth being a fan even when the team struggles or takes steps to be better. I’m happy to see the process and pieces coming together.

From the Bing days. Our starting unit makes no sense - specifically THJ being part of it. Looking at 2 man unit data, Duren - Hardaway is minus 12 net rating. Hardaway is very negative with each pairing from the starting unit, the minus 12 with Duren being the worst. Duren has played 700 minutes - 500 of those with THJ in, who is our worst defender. THJ, also is one of our worst in terms of PER, at 9. Duren has a 17 PER, he is not the problem. We have two players, Holland and Thompson, with low PER's, but who play defense well. Besides THJ, Fontecchio should quit playing, a PER of 10, no defense. People pick on Harris - but his 13 PER is not that bad, while his net ratings from two man pairings look fine - if you filter out the minutes where THJ is also out there. Harris and THJ have over 600 minutes together, by the way - at a net rating of minus 9. Look at Harris - Duren - minus 4.5 net rating in 543 minutes. But, filtering out the time where THJ is also out there with them, Harris - Duren is well positive. (apologies, this requires some math - Duren - Harris must be well positive, when playing without THJ, since the THJ - Harris pairing is minus 9, covering the great majority of Harris' minutes, while THJ - Duren is minus 12, covering the great majority of Duren's minutes. Harris has 900 minutes total this season.)
@therockneverstops82618 сағат бұрын
@@LeeSohlden I have been a resounding no for THJ since the trade. Quentin Grimes does so much more as a utility guard like Donte DiVencenzo, they defend, rebound, play-make, facilitate, competitive, high IQ, physical junk yard dog types. @@pheralanpathfinder4897 Grimes and Wiseman were certainly missteps. A healthy Wiseman instead of Paul Reed would be huge and Grimes instead of THJ would have equaled at least 2-3 more wins in those close games where you needed far more than a shooter.
