I have often wondered how Yugioh attracts new players at all, given how complicated the game is. Content like this is exactly the sort of thing that will make the game more approachable.

It’s a dragon you can summon off of Seal for an extra interrupt if you need it! Gives the Tenpai deck an extra layer going first since the extra deck has like 3-4 flex spots.

Q: My opponent controls an Attack Position Tenpai Dragon Paidra, and its『you take no battle damage from battles involving your FIRE Dragon monsters』effect is applying. I control Nightmare Pain, and its『your opponent takes any battle damage you would have taken from battles involving your "Yubel" monsters』effect is applying. If Tenpai Dragon Paidra now attacks my Attack Position Yubel, how much damage will each player take? A: First of all, Yubel's『inflict damage to your opponent equal to that attacking monster's ATK』effect will resolve, dealing 1700 effect damage (equal to Tenpai Dragon Paidra's ATK) to your opponent. Afterwards, damage calculation is performed. If multiple effects change how damage is calculated, they are applied in the following order: 01: This card inflicts double battle damage. 02: Battle damage is taken by both players. 03: Battle damage you take is also inflicted to your opponent / your opponent takes any battle damage you would take instead. 04: Battle damage is treated as effect damage. 05: The player gains Life Points instead of taking battle damage. 06: Battle damage becomes 0. 07: Battle damage is halved. 08: Battle damage is doubled. 09: Battle damage becomes X (X being a predetermined value). 10: You do not take battle damage if it is more or less than X. (However, note that if the Battle Damage has become 0 when applying "06" effects, the remaining effects are not applied.) According to card rulings on the Konami db - Nightmare Throne can't activate during the damage step.

Throne should be able to activate since it doesn’t specify “only during your main phase” like pain does. Throne only specifies once per turn doesn’t say when in the turn. Throne will only activate if a yubel or yubel monster is removed from the field via card effect. So technically Sam couldn’t go from terror into spirit since terror didn’t leave by card effect, rather by battle I could be wrong but can you link where it cant be used in battle id love to see

I would suggest getting Purrely if you want an entry level deck. It's a decent competitive deck if you want to play at a higher level without breaking the bank. Most of the expensive cards were just reprinted and are very affordable
