I love roller coaster and when I was close to 300 pounds I couldn't fit on many of them. I lost the weight and was able to fit on the same rides I wanted to get on. It boosted my confidence and motivated me to keep going.

"Fatphobia" is a hoax. When people see someone grossly overweight they are repusled. You do deserve respect, cause you are a human, but the number 1 way to avoid being made fun of is make yourself a harder target to hit. Being overweight is unnatractive, and also bad for your helath. Just like drugs, stuffing yourself with fast food every day is a addiction. If you think it tastes b3tter than skinny looks. Thats fine, but going on here whining saying "weight loss" is a "toxic part of society" is ridiculous. People want to look good, feel good. Not be a overwight tub of lard that gets gross looks everywhere they go. Being healthy isnt extreme, or toxic. Being fat is fine if yiur ok with it. But excpeting others to be ok and jump through hoops and latters to mold to you is what is a issue.
