Haven't seen a video on the orange indicator light on the right rear back door. Can't figure out when it lights up. Also, do you know why the Jaecoo Assistant activates on it's on and also the radio turns on on it's own? Thanks and keep up the great work!

I notice there are 2 sounds at minutes 13:01 and 13:40. What is that sounds?

I reckon both are from brake motions. You can see the front Toyota drive loves tailgating the other car. His/her brake is quite strong with the car's tail lifting up (not the best driver you want to follow under ACC). That resulted in the system braking a bit more aggressively to the situation.

@@JerryPanandCars you're not really fast though.. but why that sound happen when braking..my 2017 perodua Myvi even doesn't give any sound when braking from 70km to 20 km..

@whybotherha1021 that’s the part where you need to realize that ACC and manual brake is totally different concepts. For manual brake, you can control the motion before it reaches a complete stop. Under ACC when the front vehicle’s brake is strong, the vehicle will react and find a way to stop you first instead of offering a comfort stop. The priority is different. This happens to most of cars I have tested on ACC.

Hey mate. Can you comment on smooth the ACC is? Particular if there is an intervention from nearby vehicle when they cut in front of you. It does seems quite jerky at 8:03

It is fine and acceptable to me. I have tried many ACCs (most cars are on the budget end of course). In a scenario like 8:03, many will break like or even stronger than the J7. It is still hard to these level 2 drive assist systems to predict any line cut.

Do you think the AWD is worth 6 grand more than the FWD?

Worth it if you need or like the AWD. Otherwise the 2WD is still well equipped for most drivers.

Finally someone making a real demo. A key question here is this adaptive cruise control handling stationary vehicles in front of the the car being followed if the followed car changes lanes. The Peugeot3008 hits the stationary car.its software doesn’t detect a car in front unless it is moving. What is the situation here with that system? One obvious regret is that the text on the front screen is too small. Font increase option will be very welcomed

I believe this detects a stationary car based on my test but I'm not an engineer to confirm that.
