Imagine a sapphire and amethyst deck, Jafar and Aurora. Aurora can give jafar Ward. He'll be untouchable, especially with all the ruby control cards. And then just use pawpsicle and hiram for draw support.

I think running The Queen: Wicked and Vain, along side Blue Fairy: Rewarding Good Deeds (and perhaps a Chief Bogo) in that deck would go a long, long, way. The number of floodborn you run justifies the fairy (who is also evasive)or bogo. And the og Queen is such a perfect fit next to beast, its not even funny. Running chief bogo, will drop a lot of your opponents' early board set up as this is a mid range deck. Effectively, working retroactively to play all that spot removal your running currently. Also, toss in a Kuzco: wanted Llama and/or Chernabog's Minions for your early game to help ensure the victory by drawing into what you need. Or by closing the game after you play a Jafar and dont hit that 2nd or 3rd whole new world.

In the first game you should have used the snake on hook after you quested to get another card to ink or play down.

I dont think this deck needs madam mims and merlins anymore. Probaly focus on bodyguard to save jafars

I think there's two different builds, the one with bodyguards being more aggressive.

@@johnsjourney2221 well...there are different builds for everything. But the way this was played, having madam mims and merlins just wasnt all that useful. Remember with that core, you need 16 -20 cards to be part of the deck. That is a lot when all you do is ink them.

There are ways around it. The set isn’t even out yet and people are still just experimenting with decks. Counters will be identified. There’s already a bunch of cards that force discard, and removal to get rid of shift targets.

Everyone’s so quick to call things broken. Remember Belle - Hidden Archer? Did she break the game? Hardly. Jafar will be far better I’m sure but not game breaking in the slightest. So many decks are capable of winning the game by turn 5 and people are scared of a card that comes out turn 5 (and only if you shift) The game is pretty balanced if you ask me.

Easily countered. Ill be running Steel draw and discard engine with Sheriff OfNottingham. Go ahead and play AWNW. Sheriff would taje out Jafar on the spot.

​@WintersLorcana plus Jafar only works on your turn and has to be exerted. Sheriff is anytime and foes not have to be exerted. I would love to see a deck built around Sheriff in a future video.

@@WintersLorcana Amethyst//Steel with Jafar is definitely a slower deck and needs a ton more set up to pull the combo off. It’s going to be a 50/50 deck imho, you’re either gonna beat it or you won’t. I’m honestly surprised none of the builds I’ve seen aren’t using Blue Fairy for extra card draw with the amount of floodborn that are going to be in the deck. But it’s definitely not a Ruby/Amethyst deck either. Whether or not Ruby/Amethyst maintains its boogie man status remains to be seen but I can definitely see a large jump for Amethyst/Steels numbers this season.

How long do you want games to be? You should be down to your last few points before a 7 drop is ready to enter the field

@@bryanwong1625 If games end in 20 minutes, it usually indicates there's no depth to the game, unless it's two veterans playing it like speed chess. The more complex the game is it naturally lasts longer. But I can understand that the game is still in its early stages. I just don't like cards that make the game unbalanced and kills the excitment.

It has to be nerfed for sure, that's busted beyond belief, and the only real counter are in steel or maybe ruby. So if it doesn't change everyone will be playing steel, they messed up hard with this card.
