I've seen some traps that look like Jager's metal panel traps, but have a single panel of netting to get them crawling under it to enter. Perhaps the best of both worlds?

I like the soft flexible net because it covers any holes or uneven ground around the trap. I use a rigid trap with a human trigger. Sometimes the pigs will hit the rigid trap, moving it a little bit, and sometimes over an uneven area, or the trap isn't on an even surface, then they root under the trap and push up and get out. I have driven up to a trap full of pigs and before I can get out the truck, half have gotten under the rigid trap enclosure. It tough when you live and hunt around uneven ground where there are no level spots near where the pigs are located, to set up the trap. I have tried to use short t-posts to keep them from pushing the trap towards a low area, most of the time with good luck. Another not so fun thing about the net trap, I hate driving and pulling t-posts. I am an older retired guy with a bad back. In the summer, the clay is so hard the t-post can bend trying to drive them in the ground and it will take a front end loader to pull them out.

Jager is my favourite solution to pig control. I find your videos brilliant too. And I am not even in your country.

You just need to have 3 - robotically maneuvered rifle mounts and operate telecomm controls with a scope on the trapped pigs - and cap their azz - without having to drive 50 miles to come and drop a pig.
