it means you have a leak somewhere not the tank

Nope . It could be your temp sensor . thermostat . Fan or fan fuse and relay

I have a question for you. I was just driving my XF jag supercharged vehicle and the low coolant just came on my dash. I took it to Jaguar and they topped it off with green antifreeze. It still had some orange fluid but was a little low..The next day a restricted performance came across the screen and I wonder if this caused another issue due to the wrong antifreeze put in my system? I'm going to buy a new reservoir tank which should include the tank sensor. Hopefully this will clear my codes. Your thoughts would be great?

That lil orange antifreeze it ain't do nothing to the sensor. the problem is your tank it self when you replaced everything will be ok

Did you check the rocker cover? Look for oil on the engine cover, it would lead you to the issue if it is a broken engine rocker cover.

Ok this message came on only when your reservoir is empty so if it's full you will need to replace it

I did it because was fully i bought it with sensor included but the messages on screen yet

@@ferjimenez5441 check the sensor plug make sure you connect it good if it's connected check the plug wire also try to disconnect the battery for 10 min

People also check the thermostat housing if you get a low vol coolant. It sits in front of the oil filter in 3.0D V6.

Someone asked the question why replace the tank instead of replacing the sensor. I replaced the tank and it came with the sensor and I just plugged the sensor cable into it. But my car is still burning too much coolant I mean I can fill the tank up within range drive it to the next county about 25 miles away and back and my coolant level is already low and it will show a low coolant level light if I drive it any longer. I checked for leaks and I don’t see any. My AC compressor will shut down if the coolant level gets too low. Where is all my coolant going. I’ve poured four gallons of coolant in reservoir in the last two months I mean at $22 a gallon it has gotten a little expensive. Can someone tell me what my problem is.

Jaguar has a common problem with the coolant leak it always be under the manifold behind the water pump all hoses pipes has to be replaced check other videos

My expansion tank is full, I don't see any leaks and smell antifreeze in the car and show coolant level low. Would this be the issue???

The proper antifreeze mix is a mixture of antifreeze and water, but I believe if you buy it from Jaguar premixed, but there is water in it.

@@hanitwfik i don’t have any i just wanna buy one of them but in my opinion No info about temperature is main reason why engine have some problems .. people use high revs on cold engine and they forget to cool down turbos after the trip ..

Because the tank always gets stuck but the sensor always fine

I know sorry you will just need to play with it what I do is taking the black plastic tip off and attached it to the body then slowly slide the reservoir to it
