@@Paul-lg4gg I wish they would focus on making 1 V6 Sedan and 1 V6 SUV completely stripped down of any unnecessary costs, make parts interchangeable/reuse a lot of materials, make 1 trim level which leaves the ability for the buyer to upgrade components themselves (which we will do anyways), so they become way WAY more affordable and available to the modern working person. Keep in mind I was told (and eventually dissuaded against buying a Jag) by 3 people "don't buy a Jaguar/Land Rover/Fiat, most places around here won't work on them, so good luck affording a Euro body shop!", and now have a 2021 Mazda CX-5 that I do love, but it was the same price as a 2021 F-Pace S Trim, which would've had 200 more HP! And before they chose Electric, did anyone think "who will be interested in Jaguar that wants a completely Silent driving experience"?. Almost no engine noise, Electric Cars sound like UFOs and that is never going to be people's attraction to expensive powerful muscle car brands!

Going 100% electric is a gamble and not having any new cars to sell for two years means that fast moving competitors already have cars to market of comparable stature with mature electrics, this puts Jaguar at a high risk of dissapearing from the market place. Volvo, Lotus, Alfa Romeo, BMW are already there.

I have owned a Jaguar since my 1971 E-Type through my current XKR and XJL. However, I will never buy or drive an EV so this is very sad news for me personally and I feel the last nail in the coffin for Jaguar. R.I.P.

In New England in the US there are only a very small number of Authorized Jaguar dealerships. I wanted a certified F Pace or a new E Pace, but the closest dealer is almost 2 hour drive away. Going to electric is not good. Give people what they want, POWERFUL ENGINES, more Cylinders the better, interior Ambient Lighting, a very high end sound system with an independent Bose subwoofer, and just use these same outer shells, theyd ensure their survival in 10 years!

We have 3 Jags in family and none of them is neither SUV nor is contaminated with any eletlctrification. We live intensive lives in big city. We have no life to waste on few not too fast chargers. We will definately not buy any electric car for at least a decade, and as electrification slows down with all it flaws it is more likely to be more than one decade before it shall make any sense. So instead of next F-Type I would go for Corvette with keeps V8 as we like it. Similar with other models. Dead end to me, time to change source of our cars.

Utter nonsense. I own a jaguar SV that is nothing short of perfect. My previous car was a Cayenne Turbo. I will be buying another Jaguar SUV at some point in the future. They are better to drive than Range Rover sports, and more reliable, and have more character than Porches, ( which had been my previous four cars). Never considered Mercedes (fat cat machines) or BMW (aspirational/social climber machines). Audi were OK but are now too ‘in your face’. Jaguar have understated class. That’ll do for me.

Utter nonsense. I own a Jaguar SUV and it’s close to perfect. My previous car was a Cayenne Turbo. I will at some point buy another Jag SUV hybrid (or electric if they can get the range over 400 miles). Won’t consider Mercedes (fat cat machine) or BMW (aspirational/social climber machine) or Audi ( used to be good but now garish and trying too hard. Porsches are amazing but boring. Jaguar has understated class. That’ll do me.

@@cgbfun2496 I Agree, I have an XF and an XKR. I dont think you have grabbed my drift. Electric only Jaguar are finished before they start. The new All electric Jags will look fantastic and will start north of £120K, but they will not sell. They have thrown away all the petrol and diesel models and all of their old customers. Many of the local Jag showrooms will close with just a central main showroom in each chosen sector of the uK. Hatfields of Hull have told me they will not be chosen to sell the new EV models and will have to rely on the second hand market to survive, which they will not. I think Jaguar make some of the best cars in the world, but they are being killed off by......Jaguar.

The latest news as of July is that Jaguar will discontinue its entire line. Except for the F- Pace!!!!!!!! . They are bleeding $$$$. It's just that simple.

This is true; at the recent shareholders' earnings call (the most important duty a JLR exec, has) current CEO Adrian Wardell said as much. But I always wondered what Mr. Tata sounded like-now that I know I hope he pays a pro voiceover person next time (it hasn't worked for Trump either but he only owns 1/owns 1/3 of Mar-A-Lago & a few scrubby golf courses while Mr. Tata owns 1/3 of INDIA-jus sayin'...

A transition to electric would be the sensible way, general infrastructure cannot properly support all electric vehicles. Combustion, hybrid and electric give a smooth direction, all electric only will be the downfall of Jaguar

The styling now is like any other modern car - you can find hondas and toyotas as nice looking,,,,very sad for Jaguar classic style. We will need to hunt for older models and refurbish them.

Who the fuck is the marketing director/ CEO of Jaguar? Historical pedigree of Jaguar is no more!🤦‍♂️Please BMW or the Volkswagen group buy Jaguar. They have done great great things with the British marks….Bentley….Rolls Royce….Mini…etc.

I have an XK Jag convertible... it's a beautiful thing; nice 5.0L na V8. However I do think Jaguar is doing the right thing. Bentley and Rolls Royce are both going all electric. Remember the big deal that manuals and clutch pedals were going away? sports car guys all up in arms?... paddle shifters were just sending a request to the engine while only a manual shift was really the best thing? By the early 1990's there were no clutch pedals left in Formula One cars. And it's been over 10 years since Ferrari even produced a manual car. Things change. I just hope that Jaguar keeps it's beautiful styling and really surprises everyone with a new model ... just like they did in 1961 in Geneva.

i dont think its the time for jaguar to go full electric ,,,,the technology has not matured yet in this segment and Jaguar is better off partnering with chinese companies like BYD on chassis and batteries technology ,,,
