Jaguar Jumps On Prey

Look at this reaction time! The jaguar was just casually walking along looking for anything of interest when a caiman gave itself away in the leaves. The jaguar wasted absolutely no time in launching herself straight into the water.
She managed to catch the caiman after subduing it in the leaves, but unfortunately that was the end of the sighting.

My girl Hunter is at again with her catching another Caiman like her grandmother Ruth/Kyra. Their family are known to be expert Caiman hunters. Appreciate the footage. It's good to see her thriving and doing well.

lol the mental process of these jaguars in associating caimans with food haha. Wonder where the larger caimans are, cause they shouldn't be nobody's easy meals.

The nice part of being a jaguar in the Pantanal is that all the caimans are you food. If they move to a new area with Black caiman...now we have a different story.

Jaguars are probably a bit bigger, pretty much only in Central/South America. Leopards come in all sizes in many parts of the world. A male African leopard would be real tough too.
