I Do think it's more about trust, she probably take care of these animals since they were very young, so they see her as part of the pack. So they trust her. I doubt a zookeeper would be even able to get close to a lion or any animal in these places because they are very badly kept, but the ones in reserves like this, they have people that really care for them a lot. And they are also very well fed, and it's still dangerous.

@@eliasvonbrille Aren't jaguars well known for going for the back of the skull? As well as waitin up in trees for their prey to pass by? That's how they hunt down crocodiles for example. A gun won't help you when a jaguar jumps on your back and shatters your skull in one powerful bite, they're strong enough to kill crocs in one bite so a human skull isn't a match. Good luck shooting it in that one/two second time frame. But yes guns prob help if theres multiple people, otherwise a gun will help you as much as a knife will in the case of an ambushing jaguar.
