My Jaguar looks the same, remote control is the same but do no have the Valet button. Any other tip for programming the remote ? Thanks

Awesome amount of very helpfull vids you have here! This is the programming procedure to add boot opening to the remotes?

Once it's programmed it can also open the boot it is not a separate procedure for it to have that ability. You simply unlock it three times in a row to open the boot.

Not sure whether it is stranger that the trunk needs to be open to program the remolt or that almost 20,000 people have needed this help.

To open the boot only Jaguar can up grade it... :( If you go to my web site (Jaguar-Portugal Fórum), i have there an image that show the dealer options. You can choose english language. ;) My best regards,

I tried the same method with me 1995 xj6, I did everything including pushing the valet key five times, I didn't hear a beep.

I didn't do it correct the first time can you tell me how to reset the remote?

I can not get this to work but looks like others have any help please ?? I press the valet button 5 times and get the beep, press the fob button not beep, after about 15 secones it beeps again (( as if it's timed) just put new battery in the FOB still the same ANY TIPS ?? (its a ebay fob didnt come with the car but seller claims it to be the correct one. Anything I can check to see if it's the correct fob ?(looks the same)

I found out 2 different fob s one has a round ring around the case, the other is from SAAB the SAAB ones are much cheaper & worked first time

There are two separate remotes using two separate radio frequency. You must find out which is correct for your car.
