Good video. I would like to ask you for an advice. My clock came loose and is wandering around in the center console. I don't want to remove the console. It was always sturdy in place. How may I fix it, please?

Oh!! The burnt ribbon and bulb placement explains so much! My clock is buggered and I heard the clocks go quickly. The temp and radio lcd works fine but my clock is just vague bits of numbers. After a long drive the screen is a bit better and it does keep time well. You just can’t see it. I don’t want to have to replace the whole unit.

Well unfortunately it's hard to replace just the clock part of the unit, like you saw in my video. Might need to bite the bullet on this one. Although, after the fact, I can say I would prefer if they didn't change the "lock" and "hazard" button LED's because they don't quite match the brightness of the other buttons anymore (at night).

LED bulbs do not generate heat, no burn!

Do you know where I get the right leds? I only see 3mm and 5mm but it seems they are 4mm

@@krzysztoftkacz What brightness did you use? I hear some people complain that the LED's they used are too bright

Those strip wires are awful. Remember the Kenwood masks? They broke after a few days
