I got excited for a minute! I can get Apple Car play in my Jagggg. Well, that is more that I can do. It looks great, and if I was using my car all the time, I would inquire about this. But with 17000km in over 2 years (pandemic meant I had nowhere to go). Maybe if there is someone near Ottawa that can do the job, I might... that was the only sour taste of getting my XE, as the dealer was saying that they can install it... and then, at delivery, they did not.

Will this also work for the XF model? I believe the XE and XF use the same equipment.

Is it necessary the vent part on top of the screen to remove center console panel? Or is it ok just to remove the back seats vents?Thnks :)

I've installed one of these in my XE. It's great for the screen mirror features. The downside to it for me is, if I connect via Bluetooth to my car's Bluetooth and I use any maps system, I get no turn by turn direction audio.

Thank you! Pricing depends on vehicle, this one cost is about $700AUD. Wireless for this car is good to go i believe but here we are using Korean modules. Chinese modules allow wireless.

Hiding the cables is a real pain. They're meant to be hidden behind the glove box. I didn't personally do that with mine, as I wasn't willing to take more parts off my car.

@@Crimson_Logic i have a 2019 so mine goes all in the cubby behind the two seats. thing is that mine connects wirelessly and sometimes it gets the backup camera stuck in flashing black screen since i park in my garage and first thing i do is put in reverse to backout. wondering if same happens to you .

Yes that's how everyone else does it. You don't need to touch the centre console at all.

Jay McCraken Hey man. Yep all genuine features will continue to work as normal. Even if you’re in CarPlay the reverse camera will still take over the screen when in R. Unfortunately we don’t have anyone in Townsville!
