My dad had an xfr, same trim as yours back in 2013. It was such a fun car, but its so underappreciated in the car community and that almost makes me sad! A family car that screams from the supercharger and can go 300km/hr, with the price of an xfr right now I hope more channels like yours pop up! That car is a straight animal!!

Alternator had to be changed 2 times but thats because the oil filter sits on top so everytime i chaged the oil and removed the old oil filter some oil got into the alternator. now i use some paper towels around the filter housing to catch the oil. Thats all. Mine has 79k miles

Got the same car bro. Luv the mods. I was always curious why the supercharger was so quite. Didn’t think adding an intake would bring the cat out lol it’s music to my ears. I got a question about oil changing, you mention you do your own oil, I was told that there’s not drain plug so I have been taking my jag to the dealership so they can pump it out the tube in the oil filler. Is this true? Do you need to pump the old oil out the top of the engine?

Theres a drain plug on the bottom if the oil pan just remove the plastic under the car and you will be able to see it. The dealer uses a bacum tube that connects on the filler hole to drain the oil you can do both i been changing my own oil and never had any problems

Its the way the ecu is tuned this cars are tuned from factory to run very rich and all that unburnt fuel goes into the hot exhaust and thats what creates the backfires and pops.

Leave your exhaust stock and get an intake and pulleys it should get alot louder you don't need to mod the exhaust
