After owning my 2010 Jaguar XF S V6 Diesel Portfolio for just about three years, I've finally decided it would be time to share it with my KZbin community. Enjoy this presentation, as I have in mind to make a bunch of content with this car.

2 x things to know - cylinder head breather house will perish and need replacing. The boot not opening saga will happen to you unless you check the boot harness next to the hinges. The opening and closing of the boot over time bends and flexes wires enough to snap them=no boot release via electronic means. You have to use your emergency mechanical key to open each time🙄

Hi, thanks for video, always interested in your cars. Did you know you can get DRL's for this model. It involves replacing the chrome blades in the lower part of the front bumper. The replacements are still chrome blades but with DRL's fitted in them. (if you're interested in them that is.) Another great video 👍🏻 thank you. Oh, and you can get clip in sun shades for the rear door windows, they clip into the widow rubbers allowing them to remain in position with the widows open. I installed them for my dogs, yes dogs with sand colour leather, but so easy to clean.

Thank you very much for your support! Yes, I have actually bought these DRLs you mentioned but I failed installing them because this car doesn't have traditional separate wires for parking light, low beam, etc. I couldn't figure out how to wire them up to switch off or at least dimm when the light is switched on. To be continued 😅🤣

@@MotorScotti 😂😂 I knew someone here in the uk who had them. He didn't bother with them dimming and had them wired up to the ignition, switch the car on and DRL's are on, turn car off and DRL's go off. Passed his annual M.O.T inspection too, but your regulations may be different. Keep up the great content my friend 👍🏻 🤝

@BootneckSA80A2 😂 Well the always on method wouldn't work where I live, they need to at least dimm with thr headlights on. Once everything else of my list is done I might give it another try, though.😅
