I am always too scared to take jobs like this clean egr or dpf, if the fault isn't cured most customers leave a bad impression when paying at the end or either bad review if fault not cured, I have not learned yet how to tell a customer that this is your invoice the fault is still there and you need to pay this much 😞 keep up the good work learning alot from your video thankyou

Thanks for your support, i did mention to the customer that this EGR valve is located far from the intake manifold the dealership has diagnosed the fault rightly, so the EGR valve may not be blocked due to the carbon deposit built around the valve. I was reluctant doing the cleaning task because i knew from the dealership experience point that they deal only with jaguars vehicles so their diagnoses is going to be accurate.

I have the same egr but I think it’s failing because the control motor / solenoid is week

Hello mate. Do you think that I can pull out the EGR only if I unscrew the metal pipe on the right side, because on the left side one of the bolts falls from below and it is difficult for me to feel it. And I also don't have a key with a breakable head. This is the reason. 7:18

Thanks for watching The bottom screw cannot be accessed eventhouhg you disconnect the exhaust pipe connected between EGR valve and inlet manifold.
