As a last resort you can do that. Just open the hood and there is a Positve pole (Red Plastic on top of it). Take off the red plastic and attach a postive jumper and the negative jumper on any bare metal with a battery power pack. If you don't have a batter power pack, then attach the other end of jumper to the positive and negative battery of another car. Then press the trunk release button on your Key Fob. Now you have the trunk open

This is the harder method. The easiest way is to open up the hood and attach jumper cables or a battery pack to the jumper points. Theyre under a plastic cover. There is a red tab for the positive and then there's a metal screw for the negative. The car will honk as soon as you attached the jumper leads. Now you can just press the trunk hatch button on either the remote or the back of the car. You welcome

@heykaykay_hd There is a much easier way to get the trunk open. Under the hood/bonnet, located on the passenger side, there is a connection accompanied with instructions. 5 minutes at most.

If it has a key fob, there’s a panel to the left of the trunk release button. Pop the panel off, there’s a keyhole. Use the emergency key from your key fob in the keyhole and open the trunk….don’t do whatever “this” is……
