I just gotta say. This is the most unnerving 2-3 days I've ever dealt with following this team. To go from all but losing out on both top HC candidates because Trent Baalke is still the GM to firing Baalke hours later to Liam Coen coming to terms with the Bucs to stay as the highest paid coordinator in the league to Coen driving 4 hours to Jacksonville to interview with the Jaguars to all the reports of him wanting to take the head coaching position and now this. What an emotional roller coaster of a couple days this has been; and it's not even midnight yet. Thanks for all the coverage on all of this chaos, Jordan. Congrats to the Jaguars organization for turning the corner, Liam Coen for getting that HC job we knew he would get somewhere, and all of us fans for having to put up with this absolute mess of a half decade.

When Todd Bowles folded in a "win or go home" playoff game and decided to kick a FG instead of trusting Coen and going for the win vs the Commanders (who's now playing in the NFCCG), not only did Bowles lose the game, but he lost his OC that same night. Though this being a sad day for me, as a Bucs fan I want to congratulate the Jags on the fantastic hire. You guys got a great one.

As a Bucs fan its a weird one. On one hand im greatful for what hes done and as someone with many shares in fantasy football of Lawrence im hoping it works out but on the other the way hes gone about leaving the Bucs and how hes moved around the last 5 years with 5 jobs shows a serious lack of integrity and loyally. One of the bad things I can't say about Baalke is that at least he didn't leave the roster, salary cap, and future draft picks in shambles like the previous GM did. The Jags can be competitive next season from Week 1 with proper leadership.

The whole situation was messed up I’m not even a Bucs or Jags fan. But since this is an outside perspective I kind of understand Coen why he lied. The Bucs know you are probably going to accept the HC job so they said “we will offer ALL this IF you don’t go to your 2nd interview” and you’re thinking “I really would like to be an HC but then their GM sucks” so you sad ok But then Jags called you told you they FIRED the GM asked you if you reconsider. You would want to see what they can offer because you wanted a promotion anyway. Nothing is set yet you want to see the offer. But if you do you Tell the Bucs they will take back their offer. Thing is Coen is not a good liar if he did lie about a Drs appointment for his son. I understand why he did that. Someone from the Bucs probably leaked that out. This is why most Teams like the 49ers got their coordinators poached big time because that’s how it is you don’t want be in the way of their ambition and the. people lying to you. You don’t want bridges burned like right now hoping we get Saleh back, if the 49ers blocked Saleh before then that wouldn’t be possible.
