I saw this the other day in a charity shop and I didn't even know Mr.Wardle did a Chinese and Tibetan fusion dub album so snapped it up and what a gem I got for 99p, I love Wobble from P.I.L. day's as a punk and love his material with The Invaders of the Heart, but this album is amazing. I fully concur with Paul MacCallum Newark.

One of my great regrets is that I never got to see Wobble and Levene doing the Metal Box revisited shows a few years ago. I hope they'll do it again one day; if they do, I'll be there. The only time PiL were worth bothering with was the period these two were in the band (although, "The Flowers Of Romance" album is good too). Other than his first autobiography, Lydon has done nothing at all of worth since parting ways with these two....... unless you consider being an embarrassment worthwhile that is!😐

The Flowers of romance is PiL's masterpiece in my opinion. Although it was a completely different band in all but name, "Album" is pretty fine too and considering who played on it, so it bloody ought to have been! Rumour has it that Miles Davis almost contributed along with Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ryuichi Sakamoto, GInger Baker and Bill Laswell to name a few.
