I dont know if I did something wrong with the pro c2 but mine only has 2 folders called PSP and seplugins Edit: I had to go into the psp folder to find the "PROUPDATE"

Thanks Blaine! although during my process I noticed there are slight differences with the files theyre all there, but its one click not two for one file and the 6.61 pro file has the pro update file in the folder and other stuff so you dont drag and drop it you go in and find the pro update folder then drag and drop. But other than that everything went smoothly. Thanks!

Hey Blaine, So I followed along with your installation guide. And where I ran into a problem is when it came time to install the PRO Update. I pressed X and the until went to the PSP screen and then none of the DOS scroll came up. The unit just turned off. Ever had this problem described to you? lol I checked into the system information and still 6.60 not the 6.61 software as desired. Are you able assist me with this issue? Thank you all the best..

A lot of popular guides I've found mention only the psp1000 and some psp2000 can have permanent cfw. But with infinity 2, you can install permanent cfw on all models to play emulators, is that correct?

I've had my psp E1000 since ever I can remember. Only now when I am on an internship trip did I realise I forgot a few of my games. And since it had a SD card I figured I could hack it. This will probably my First modded console I have. I do not dare to try and mod my 3DS since it's old and slow already 👀 Edit: I believe I was 9 at the time that I got my PSP E1000. I'm so greatful I was super careful with it. Only a few mild non bothering scratches on the screen. But I was a child. I'm what you can call an O.G. PSP modder. I can remember back to when we would downgrade 2.0 firmware to 1.5 to run unsigned code using GTA Liberty City Stories. Almost forgot the picture method of modding where a JPEG image would be used. Then, Device Hook came along and that was a solid way of running code that was not authorized. Then, a coder from Spain known only as Dark Alex (read: legend) unveiled custom firmware which was a game changer. Now, here we are in 2023 and I am modifying a PSP for a friend of a friend and that brings me to you Blaine. I have not modded a PSP in several years and am looking forward to showing a fellow gamer the wonders of software modification. editors note: the operation was a success!

Just to clarify, are you using a Memory Stick Pro Duo card from a PSP 1/2/3K model, a PSPGo micro memory card, or a microSD card in a PSP Memory Stick adapter? If you're using a proprietary memory card, like the Memory Stick Pro Duo or PSPGo SD card, you'll need a card reader dedicated to those formats. Or, the easier way to do it is just get a USB cable that matches up with your PSP and plug it in to your PC. Then the PSP will work as the card reader natively with your PC.
