Make sure you have version 4.1 not 4.0, I just noticed that yesterday and it showed an error everytime I wanted to see the repository list

i just wish there was a clear guide on how to actually run the ports and homebrews. its not like pkgj where you can just download and its g2g. there's plug in and external sourcing of files that need to be manually added into files and for someone like myself that know nothing about this stuff, its pretty much a guarantee I'm going to damage something.
