I just ran across this video. I remember listening to this very mix of this song that I found and bought from a roadside vendor in Saudi Arabia as we progressed North towards Kuwait during the first Gulf War in 91.The night the cease fire began we sat outside Kuwait City. The City was in a full black out but it was there and we sat in complete darkness due to the smoke from the oil fires and no lights from the city. For months we sat in the dark in the Desert due to light discipline as we advanced towards the boarder. At this point we had been awake for 4 days strait as we took Kuwait back. That night we lit a bonfire and sat in silent awe. I carried a portable audio player and headsets for the few times we actually had a chance to listen to music. I sat staring and feeling the warmth of the fire in an attempt to finally relax for a short time. As I was listening through the the different tracks on this particular mixtape this particular mix of this song came on. As I was listening to this for the first time in my life.The tranquility of the music calmed me to the point to where at the 5:20 mark I dozed off yet I was still hearing the medley as the back ground voices and keyboards blended together and faded out. It was as surreal and dream like as it gets. It was one of those moments I will never forget. Subsequently I lost that mix tape and I haven't been able to find another copy of this particular track anywhere. Thanks for sharing and allowing me to go back to that exact moment in time and listening to one of there best mixes ever..

You know, it has a lot of interpretations. The authors of this song, as they've told, wrote it about a woman who secretly is in relationships with some rich guy, who has family. But a lot of people think it's about the twink and his rich boyfriend (or "daddy") and all this 'love' is only because of money. The second interpretation is more tragic, as for me.
