How do you know if you're playing GOOD or BAD Poker?

One thing I notice is the best time to raise is after the turn. Most people are fishing for a card and will fold if you put pressure on the river, inless they have a really good hand..

I know before I start grinding if my head is not going to be in the game! For me to be real about tournament poker, I need good sleep, good foods and drink and my head completely in the game. Study pre game to have the right mindset. And have a pre game look at what the structure is of the game or games you are playing. The blinds, 6 max or 9 ? Get your head into the game. Make sure you stick to your own starting range. Play loser for a few levels then tighten up. If I fail one of these things I just go through the motions on auto pilot. And that means no money coming in and my ROI going down and no one will stake you. Great subject bro. Love your work. Ty gl gl

i disagree. you don't just play lag on certain levels to build the chips up, because the implied odds are higher or so and so. this might be a mindset, but the hands and scenarios and position of types of players, will dictate your actions as much as you'd like to play loosely. The key imo is taking hand by hand as a basis, and take the best decision in that case, not just doing so or so other because your global strategy says that it is time to build up stack. not saying that you dont take it into account, but...

Tracking variance across many hands at one table is one thing but tracking variance across many hands over multiple tables is close on impossible. Making the correct move and taking a bad beat is down to luck. As its close to impossible to track variance across many hands over many tables then we have to put it down to luck!

They way I see it is be aggressive but don’t over aggres until your 100% sure you have the nuts the main thing is to survive and remove players with the nuts or very good hands.

How do you know? Graph over 2 years, maybe 1,5..... either you are + or - $...... tired of all this talk - show me the money socalled professionals (no shots against Jamie, just generel speaking) ... Then there is no excuse about varians/EV etc after + 1,5 year.... You cant have a JOB, not even as a pokerplayer where you can say "Oh I run minus EV" "Oh well, in the long run i suppose to win" after +1,5--2 years going by.... A job is where you make mullars, then it doesn't matter how nice of a badges you have on your shirt and how you are runnning. its really simple guys...... as a salesmanager I can uptimize a lot of things (pokertraning, reading, studying ect ect), I can invest in some things in the long run (excecute your traningdrills from poker, knowning your results not are comming imidialy) aaand a hell of a lot more to hide behind... yeah yeah yeah bla bla bla - but again show me the money.... That you guys are your own bosses do not change the fact that in the end the only things there is to measure is your earnings... Or else you're just hiding behind several excuses.... First step to knowing the answer to this question, is getting off online poker and only playing live poker. Online is a scam and always will be. There is no way to proves it’s LEGIT, AT ALL, yet people still put money on there. Crazy.

False, it is possible to prove the cards are being dealt by RNG using very well established mathematics.

@@senorcheeto3411 No. You could just play or observe a statistically meaningful sample size of hands and determine whether or not the expected distribution of results occurred. This has been done plenty of times. Stars etc are audited. You really need to quit playing poker in any capacity because you aren't intelligent enough to have even a remote chance of profiting in the long-run.
