Jainism is one of the world’s oldest religions. The spiritual goal of Jainism is to become liberated from the endless cycle of rebirth and to achieve an all-knowing state called moksha. This can be attained by living a nonviolent life, or ahimsa, with as little negative impact on other life forms as possible.
The traditions of Jainism were largely carried forward by a succession of 24 tirthankaras, or teachers, most notably Vardhamana Mahavira, the last of the tirthankaras and likely a contemporary of Gautama Buddha. Both Mahavira and Buddha emphasized the importance of self-discipline, meditation and ascetic life as the key to salvation. Their teachings often stood in contrast to those of Vedic priests of the time who emphasized ritual practices and their own role as intermediaries between humanity and the gods.

Excellent Punit ji, awesome job.. Jaipur unplugged you chose the right man, for last few days I was frustrated with civil servant Tanu Jain interpretation of Jainism who do not have any iota of idea about what Jainism is and is on podcast everywhere with her nonsense.. Just because you have speaking skills doesn’t mean what you are speaking is right.. Kudos to Punit ji and Jaipur unplugged, solved my lots of doubts.. Anumodna 👍👍

She is famous & popular😁and far away from being intelligent in Jainism. Our social media Jain Youth in their 20's are more knowledgeable compared to her! Hence I resonate with your observation. The first sentence in the channel's text description on the subject matter is absolutely wrong & incorrect comment on the antiquity and origination of Shraman Jin Dharm. You intentions are very positive but initial descriptions on Jainism is usually vague and can misguide society. When 23rd Tirthankar Parshvnath Bhagwan is already treated as a historical figure worldwide and 23rd Tirthankar Neminath Bhagwan is already stated in Vedas (Arishtnemi) & Vaidik Puranas apart from Jain Shastra's, including plethora of archaeological heritage, then how can you or anyone else state, that Jainism originated 2500 years ago in Bharat. No Jain will force you to believe on facts pertaining to Jain Dharm, but this does not mean non jains can distraught the core base of Shraman Sanskriti by writing the term 'that Jainism originated 2500 years before'. Lastly, Bhagwan Aadinath is already worshiped in Vedas & Shrimad Bhagwad/Bhagwad Puran. Thus antiquity of Jainism cannot be reduced to Bhagwan Mahavir Swami.

What is that Ananat, which Tirthankaras attain? Has that Anant come into existence only after attainments of kaivalya or it has always been existing? The Ananat The Infinite has never been known and will never be known, it will always remain beyond the understanding of Human Thoughts and Consciousness. What is the use of attaining all the Riddhis and the Siddhis if they are not used for the benefit of the human mindstream? While on the SiddhaSila all liberated souls, due to attainments of KAIVALYA, where Dhyata, Dhyan and the Dhyeya become one, that means the soul of liberated being remain one with the Triloki in its soul - consciousness, so whatever is happening in the Triloki - in the three worlds getting reflected in their soul - consciousness and the same way the bliss, peace and Ananta Chatushtaya of Infinite Vision - Darshan, Infinite Knowledge - Gyan, Infinite Bliss and Infinite Power - Force - Energy - Virya will be transferred and transmitted to Triloki.

Sahi likha. Digambar Muni shastriya, archaeological & academic information ko sahi philosophical interpretation se abhivyakt kartey hain. Yeh skill bus thodey se Jain vyaktiyon ke paas hi hoti hai. Majority log; academics, history, contemporary religion and philosophy ko combine karke Jain Darshan ko sahi roop mein explain nahin kar patey hain. Digambar Muni yeh karya utkrisht roop mein kartey hain!
