And now, an analysis of this theme. The way I see it, it sums up the feel of the trilogy in a way - Jak has come a long way since his first adventure, and the dynamic march in the first half has shown that character easily. As for the second half, not only does it say something about the way the precursors come and go, but entire sagas too. Everyone you've seen in the Jak universe, you see as a virtual family in a way, and it feels saddening to move on. It's kinda bittersweet, don't you think?

The Last of Us quedo muy cerrado, Uncharted 4 va ser el ultimo. Ahora..una nueva ip no lo creooo, Jak 4 y un reboot de Crash Bandicoot eso es lo que necesita la gente, Nintendo quiere pelea, RockStar quiere fight, Ubisoft, creanme cuando les digo.. F F F F F F Well he was saying that TLOU was finished ( now we know there is gonna be a part 2 Of it), that Uncharted 4 will be the final game, ( there is a new one called Lost Legacy), a new ip problably it will not gonna happen soon enough, Jak 4 or crash is what we need ( there is a reboot to crash) and he is talking about Stupid and senseless fights between game companies and that makeing a new Jak it would be like Ocarina Of time but with todays graphics, i dont think so, Jak has his own gameplay style and shit, sp you don't miss anything

Leyendo tu comentario, y viendo que es de hace 4 años, tengo malas noticias para ti: 1.No a todo el mundo les gusta Jak & Daxter tanto como a ti (ni Crash Bandicoot). 2.Para cuando habías escrito tu comentario, ya había salido un remake de Ocarina of Time para 3DS y si mal no recuerdo, se había confirmado el de Majora's Mask. 3.Crash Bandicoot ya tuvo su reboot mucho antes de que escribieras tu comentarios (el Lucha de Titanes), me parece que tú te refieres a un remake, que es distinto de un reboot. 4.Hay cientos y cientos de franquicias, y miles y miles de jugadores, de todas clases, de todos los géneros y según el país y sus culturas, les gustará más un tipo de juegos que otros (por ejemplo, Metroid que es una franquicia muy querida en América, en Japón no es tan popular, cosa que no me extraña, porque no es el tipo de juegos al que ellos están acostumbrados). Un remake de Crash Bandicoot y Jak 4 no van a destronar nada nunca. Si Super Mario no consigue destronar a Tetris y Pokémon tampoco logra vender más que Dragon Quest en Japón, olvidate de Jak 4 haga una cosa como esa a escala global. Es más, si una saga como Final Fantasy no logra destronar a Dragon Quest en Japón, ya a día de hoy, olvídate de Crash y Jak destronen franquicias tan populares y activas. 5.El marketing funciona según los beneficios. Crash Bandicoot siempre se ha vendido bien, sobretodo sus clásicos en PSN, sabían que un remake sería rentable. El HD collection de Jak & Daxter seguramente no vendió lo esperado (que no quiere decir que vendiera mal, simplemente no superó las expectativas de ventas de la compañía), seguramente por eso no hicieron Jak 4, es normal que no quieran arriesgarse, pero bueno, igual cambian de idea. The Best Piece of MUSIC i ever heard, damn i miss Jak and Daxter, im mad at myself for giving away my PS2 in the past, i played and beat all the JAK and Daxter Games and that game Jak the lost frontier was a waste of time, High Impact made the series a joke, JAK AND DAXTER IS BETTER THAN UNCHARTED, Bring Jak and Dax back, and bring back all the actors back too.

Ok now back to Jak and daxter, if Naughty Dog really quit making Jak and daxter games that would suck cause there are a lot of ideas i have for Jak 4 such as make a new power like dark and light jak, make jak travel to a new place, make them go back to sandover village and check on Jak as a kid, make Gol and Maia return, make a new bigger and badder boss like a god of war boss, put like 20 wepons that are like Ratchet and Clank wepons:if they are alowed

In other words, Naughty Dog doesn't really care about what the fans want, they do whatever they want. I respect Naughty Dogs talents, they are truely a great company. However, Naughty Dog really needs to start listening to what their fans want, and shouldn't be afraid to visit the past once in a blue moon. This would only make them even mote popular than they already are. I've yet to meet a Naughty Dog fan who doesn't want to see another Jak game.

What happened was Naughty Dog attempted to make Jak 4, but the team tried to stray to far from the core aspects of what made Jak so great. They wanted to make it look graphically realistic, and also change the gameplay to be more survival horror oriented. It was scrapped and they changed it into a new IP. They didn't actually want to make Jak 4, they wanted to make a survival horror game, and tried to make it a Jak game to shut the fans up. They decided that would be too cruel, and changed it.

I know that people are desperate for ND to make another Jak game, and I believe some day they will, but as a developer, they are like Rockstar in many ways. In other words, they don't make shit games. Instead, they wait. They take their time, and they release the game when they know the fans will be happy. They are not money-grabbers like EA/Activision, they do not churn out new games ad nausea like Insomniac, and they don't hand off their franchise to a new developer like Sucker Punch.

As much as I want Naughty Dog to return to Jak, I respect them for doing their own things. I don't think I'm mentally ready for The Last of Us, and I don't really see the appeal behind Uncharted, but the thing is from interviews, Naughty Dog were happy doing what they did, and that's definitely something to stand by. As for other developers handling the franchise, Sanzaru did fine with Sly 4; and Ready At Dawn / High Impact Games both had ex-ND employees, so that argument's redundant :P

Si sacaran un jak 4 solo llamaría la atención a los que lo jugaron en ps2 como yo y no le va a llamar la atención a una persona normal que no haya jugado los videojuegos del ps2 y probablemente no entendería la historia ya que estos juegos su historia se entrelaza mucho aunque si quiero que saquen Jak 4 lo que creo que para que venda es que no se llame jak 4 sino que sea una secuela que ocurra muchos años después del X (ya que the lost frontier es caca) con un hijo de jak o algo asi un daxter nuevo y que continuen asi la serie por que si sacaran el 4 sería extremadamente tarde para una secuela y por eso opino que mejor quedaría la historia que invente

Estan para PS4 (aunque funcionan regular) asi que si no tienes una PS2 pues la de PS3 es muy buena pero en fin tienes razon aunque tambien habra gente que le pase como a mi, por ejemplo yo cuando me enganche a Final Fantasy por el VII en el 2017 hice todo lo posible por jugar los siguientes y anteriores y encima hoy en dia con internet no hay barreras solo existen las que te pones tu mismo

They cant :( both crash and jak are owned by universal. To make another jak game naughty dog would have to buy the rights from universal and who knows how much that would cost. Also jak isnt as popular as the ps3 titles like uncharted (sadly :/), so they would probably loose money or atleast not make as much as with uncharted. In this world, its all about money, its hard to call them greedy since every other company needs to think it aswell. but atleast all of the naughty dogs jak games (1-3) were super awesome and those who have played them will remember them as such.
