This video is still gaining views so I figured I should address some things: - Some people have been commenting about having trouble with the flight glitch. This glitch is performed when alternating between Light Shield (O) and normal Wing Flap (X). You must start with a double jump so you get the wing flap, then bring out the shield and repeat X,O,X,O. The timing can be tricky so just practice. Here's a tutorial video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaGcpJehed-re8U - Another method of getting to it is the hover board glitch. It is harder than the flight glitch and you need to position yourself correctly. You can see me failing miserably at doing it at the beginning of the video. Personally I wouldn't recommend this method but here's a tutorial video if you want: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6S2ioiAmqeBi9E - The EASIEST WAY to get to the box is using Debug Mode which was discovered not long after I uploaded this video. This is a combination that gives you access to some dev commands. Do the following: 1.While holding L3 (Left analog stick), press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, X, X, Square, Circle, Square, Circle. It is important that you keep holding L3 and not move it, just hold it in place. You should hear a sound effect, that means you did it correctly and can now let go of L3. 2. Now do the combination again, but backwards. So hold down L3 again and: press Circle, Square, Circle, Square, X, X, Right, Left, Right, Left, Down, Down, Up, Up. You should hear another sound effect and debug text should appear in the top left corner. You can now use the commands. To fly in Debug Mode, press L2 and R2, now hold R2 to rise and L2 to lower yourself. This will allow you to fly effortlessly to the box. Note that Debug Mode can be activated on all the Jak games of the trilogy. I remember doing this while my dad watched me play as a kid, he was so flabberghasted and thought that the concept of an easter egg was so interesting, and I got to explain to him how a lot of games have little secrets like this, a fond memory :)

Jak 3 some how had a more depressing tone than the second game if you really think about. At the end of the second game they make us think that we finally saved haven city and finally gotten rid of the metal heads yet in the third game after saving everyone you get thrown out and left to die and when you finally get back to the city it's mostly over run by kgb bots and metal heads.

I definitely saw this game as more depressing than Jak II. In Jak II, it felt like you were in this futuristic, dystopian city, yet somehow there was hope in it all. You, as the player, were the hope, who is basically Jak. Haven City also had some nicer elements to it, like the stadium, gardens, bazaar, and even the palace (aesthetically at least). It at least felt... liveable, albeit dystopian. In Jak 3, it felt like it was the end of the world, and with the city destroyed and overrun, it started to feel really overwhelming. Again, you were playing as the hope, but it felt much more daunting, with the odds against your favor. Pretty hectic shit.

I found this myself in 2006 because I found a glitch-spot to fly a zoomer out of the port area (it's near the metal head nest entrance, a wall on the side). I was just exploring when I found this box!

This reminded me of Army Men: Sarge's Heroes on the Dreamcast. In the very first level (or any that has army barracks) you can jump on a bed, rotate the camera through a wooden beam, and find a picture of a young girl. That was the first easter egg I ever found in a videogame

Definitely give them a go, they play differently and much darker themes. The game companies at the time were also pretty close, the first ratchet and clank games used the game engine that Jak and Daxter had created (hence why they look so similar)

Jak and daxter came out first and naughty dog actually gave insomniac their code so they could make ratchet and clank so basically without Jak and daxter ratchet and clank wouldn't exist. They are both amazing series tho, neither of them ripped off eachother.
