Well, I don't know if you noticed, but the entire game looks like a Disney movie. Mainly because that's what it was inspired by.

​​@@LOOMING_WRAITH_OF_BAD_OMEN Ehhh, not really. What mainly inspired the direction of Jak and Daxter was Battle Chasers as well as Princess Mononoke. the only Disney inspiration was Abu from Aladdin when designing Daxter.

That said, if you have sources for your claims or anything I can look up to find this info, I have no problem admitting I'm wrong. The Battle Chasers tidbit sounds vaguely familiar.

If you watch the DYKG video about the series as well as the Jak and Daxter ice berg video, you'll see they mention the game inspirations. Hell, you'd easily know this just by comparing the title font to the Battle Chasers one.

Absolutely love how even in this trailer, they spam the spin attack while in the air like everyone else. At no point in any of the games (except lost frontier) is it ever mentioned that spinning in the air give you extra distance, but it's just an assumed thing you do. Nice to see that even the developers and testers did it as well and showcased it.

I remember watching this trailer on a PS1 demo disc. I know, it's kinda weird that a PS1 demo disc would have trailers for PS2 games.

It's not weird at all! :) I have that same PS1 demo disc (OPM 54). I always thought this trailer worked better when shown on the PS1. Because the footage was shown at a lower framerate, it gave more time for the human eye to register what was going on.

I still remember 2001 Christmas day playing jak and daxter the precursor legacy. Nostalgia 🥰😍🤗 but I don't have the game anymore .😭😢 Because my older brother sold in 2003 .it took me 2 years struggling this game. I didn't finish it . The reason why he sold it because there was one game of jak and daxter. Jak2 . But still have the console though.

The precursor orb in the into translates to "One Destinz" in English. And it's bothering me because it makes no sense lol. You can Google the precursor alphabet if you're curious.

hmm, could be referring to jak since he's destined to do what he does in all 3 games, hence the whole time travel situation when he was sent back to the past in jak 2 thats why we have a jak 1 game, and then gets sent to the future in the first cutscene in jak 2 to save his young self
