Just seeing this artwork makes me want a Jak II remake. A real remake, with the same soul but rebuilt from the ground up. Imagine Haven City as a true metropolis of the future, like Night City or Mega-City One. Every district should be revised and expanded. The Port area needs transport and production like we saw in Daxter. The industrial sector needs actual factories. I'd like to expand the Bazaar into a multilevel hive of commerce. Imagine the downtown area with mega-buildings, with the Palace imposing above all of them. Haven City is supposed to be one of the final centres of civilization following the metal-head invasion, and I'd love to see a remake use modern technology to really capture that world.

The gloomy city and dark alleys of the different districts are what gave it charm but as soon Jak 3 hit, I bet most guards miss the mundane patrols compared to the constant on edge feel and patrols through areas they once called home. Must be sad for a guard to venture to the metal head section where he once lived

Tbh all they really need to do is freshen it up with a new coat of paint and retell the story to fit with the other games so people like veger aren't just thrown in your face for no reason and make you question wtf happened Maybe add in some extra things to do and some better minigames/tasks and you've basically got yourself an easy remaster
