Thanks to Donny, big time impact on our program. I say we grab Seabass while we can. His dad runs a wrestling school, coaching is in his blood. Hes very personable and will be a great recruiter.

I'm loving this, all of it. My Dad (RIP) always said RU is a sleeping giant and it appears the hibernation is complete. RU about to be the BEAST OF THE EAST. CHOP CHOP 🪓🪓

Any theories on how RU has improved recruitment in an NIL era where RU doesn’t have the most to offer relative to other schools?

Schiano may have equals when it comes to recruiting but I don’t think any do it better. Is he the only difference in this era or something else?

I think it's the fact Rutgers is competitive in the big ten. New tv revenue share. Track record of getting guys to nfl. POPS success with chiefs.

Being a part of turning around a program is much more exciting to recruits than committing to one that's already successful. Schiano has figured out how to market that to high level prospects. That along with the NFL pedigree of his staff makes kids know that they'll be developed at Rutgers which makes them more likely to commit here
