You can pray on the plane or at your destination (depending on prayer times). If you fly certain airlines like Malaysian airlines, you can ask the steward/stewardess and they will even tell u roughly which direction to pray to

also when you are traveling you don't have the obligation, though it is better for you to do it anyway. it is permissible to pray while sitting if you are traveling and cannot stop such as when in a plane.. Allah wishes no trouble on us
