Well this is actually our first time ever making this kind of transport system. I say we should learn from our mistakes. And yes, I've been on that train once and i too experienced many negative thing during my ride. As for a 185cm person i felt that there's not much room in the cabin as i had to bow every time i walk inside of it. The seat itself is quite hard and uncomfortable (at least compared to the soft cushion of the commuter rail or the hard plastics yet comfortable mrt). There's also another thing, the train itself run pretty harsh. What i mean by that is the train will accelerate at a uncomfortable rate and decelerate also at an uncomfortable rate making it an uncomfortable ride experience. The stations are scorching hot because of the tin roof which absorbs heat unlike mrt which uses different kind of roof. The integration is also something to talk about. Passengers need to walk long distances for transit to another mode of transport. Take for example dukuh atas transit, you'll need to walk for approximately 5-10 minutes to hop on to mrt or 15-20 minutes if you want to hop on the brt which isn't ideal at all. And there's time issues. Currently the lrt only operates untill 6 pm. Which isn't ideal considering the peak rush hour will be somewhere around 5-7pm. I hope the government heard about this issues and improve it immediately. Because as faulty as it is, it is still a pride of the nation as we transitioned ourselves from an agrarian society to a manufacturing might.

MRT LRT KCIC build & operasional within 10 year just a miracle, these transport system is long overdue, should be built 30 years ago. Regarding LRT jabodebek you right, too many problems arise during operasional when it should have been found during trial run. It seems KAI didn't do trial run as often enough as it should be. As locally made train system which is a new system for everyone involved (adhi karya, inka, kai), they have to work harder to solve the problem. But by trial & error, hopefully they will improve in the future. This is a hard lesson to learn. 😁🙏

I think this problem needs to be fixed as soon as possible. but importing trains from foreign railway companies is only an instant solution, not a long-term solution. Let the problems that have occurred become lessons for the local industry so that their products will be better in the future. I think Indonesians must have confidence in their own work, while foreigners can only tell stories from a point of view that is beneficial for themselves.
@johanstravel6 ай бұрын
I think most problems for LRT Jabodebek are fixed now, but that 100% local content curved bridge with the wrong dimensions won't be fixed of course, so that will have to be something like the skytrain that crosses Jewel at Changi. Nice views there though over the toll road. Importing trains helps relieve the greatest need as long domestic production isn't up to standard and/or speed. This is mainly visible with KRL trains now. Imports have stopped; local production (KRL Yogya-Solo for example) is not up to JR import specs and now we already see that JR trains need to be broken up (2 12-car become 2 8 car) to keep schedules, but with shorter and thus more crowded trains. Importing trains NOW does help a million passengers daily. Quite important if you ask me, but the passengers are abused by politics unfortunately. "while foreigners can only tell stories from a point of view that is beneficial for themselves." Nothing in this video is beneficial for myself as a foreigner. I don't sell trains or signaling systems. It is beneficial for me as someone living in Jabodebek and as someone using public transport frequently.

No, hell.. even around the time you posted yesterday the system was broken down entirely for a while with people not receiving any information on what's going on. I'm not going to talk about INKA here, but you probably know for yourself what quality they dare to sell to domestic clients (LRT Jabodebek incorrect specifications is only the latest in a long list of f*ck ups). It's just a big insult to Indonesian tax payers and users of those trains. Also the GOA3 system isn't 'made domestically'.
