i always got that amir was really annoying, in a funny way, and i found that to be a good enough reason for jake to dislike him, but in the last few episodes i've watched, I'm realizing the negative consequences associating with amir takes on jake's social and work life. jake, who for the most part could be a relatively likable, even popular guy, has been dragged down to outcast status by the parasite of amir. nobody likes either of them.
