When his accents drips from those words he sings, it's like heaven to me. This kid is legend and I don't even think he knows JUST how good he is.

I stumbled upon the "Swept Away" video and it moved me, I've been hooked ever since. Plus he covers people like Neil Young & John Lennon. The world needs more of him. A true artist.

Jake Bugg... my latest obsession. What a talent! Listening is one thing, but watching him is also mesmerizing. And amazingly in these days of lyric mumbling, over modulation, and always yelling the melody (if it even exists), he enunciates with clarity and doesn't render a single note into 12.. So refreshing! Thanks, William. Go Jake!

I agree. I am hooked on JB after watching him performed on America Idol. I think he is my idol from now on!

He was featured (again) on Last Call hosted by Carson Dally just the other night. I think he was also on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon (?) recently as well.

Fire in this live is so better than the studio version!
@susiewang47495 жыл бұрын
ana júlia There’s no studio version of this song. The one on the album was recorded with his iPhone. I think he said they did several takes, but none of them were as good as the one that ended up on the album (the one recorded with his phone), so they just went with it. He also got the producer title for that song.

It's unusual for a singer to sound as good if not better live than on the album but Jake manages it. Just noticed that Bassist Tom Robertson occasionally does backing vocals as in `Kentucky' 2:03 ..... 2:50 3:23
