On Comedy Central or HBO, he told a slightly different version of this routine. I remember the joke about the woman haggling, who had a drink with a bendy straw-"..and she had a bendy straw in it, like you get in the hospital. 'Ooh, I wish every day could be like the kidney surgery day!' " And they dumped the couch on the curb, and he mimicked the person who finds it: "Who leaves these here?!" I think of those jokes, every time I see a bendy straw or a couch abandoned on the sidewalk.

Love Jake. Forgot how much he looked like a Buddy Holly/Marshal Crenshaw doppelganger back in the day. First saw him live over 20 years ago.
