In the absence of an elected Northern Ireland Assembly, this man should run the place. I don't care if he transfers part or all of it to the Republic, he can do what he likes, he's just got a keen sense of how ridiculous these internecine struggles are.

He'd probably get us and the Republic out of the EU and have all the radical arseholes ruining the country out and over to England instead

Yes, no harm to let him do a synopses! The Alliance Party are by far the more progressive & respectable representatives/politicians

I've never heard of an Orange March in Scotland being blocked and the marchers rioting with the cops, some even using ceremonial swords. I know they shout abuse at eachother but i've never heard of riots or disputes across the water like we have here.

He’s not explaining what an orange march is, he’s explaining a particular event.

Barney sold the nag for 10 grand at Doncaster sales… in 1975?!!! That’s a fair price in 1975 for a virtual donkey with one dodgy win to its name in a crooked wooden spoon race 😂

I do not understand the whole idea about the Orange lodges and the popularity of king Billy. You do understand that he wasn’t there to defend Protestantism , right? He was there for one purpose only and that making sure that he had a secure base from which to fight the French and making sure that the United Provinces weren’t overrun by Louis XIV. King Billy was a very astute and shrewd politican, statesman, warleader and diplomat. What he was not was an altruistic defender of the Protestant faith. A real politiker , who is mainly responsible for the Dutch not speaking French nowadays. As a Dutch man I am grateful for it.
