Zurdo on points, Serrano by tko and Jake Paul by ko. I want Tyson to chin him, but there are a lot of things that I want. Common sense tells me that a well trained 27 year old who's at best average, but not terrible will beat a 58 year old. Even if that 58 year old once upon a time used to be Mike Tyson. If Katie has slowed down just 10% a pressure fighter and puncher like Serrano is just the type that could exploit that. Plus it's not a Matchroom but MVP event this time, so IF it goes to the scorecards and it's very close Serrano is more likely to get the nod this time. Zurdo gets my vote on the basis of nothing more than the eye test for me. But I could be entirely wrong about two of the three fights because they're really 50/50's. I can't imagine being wrong about Paul vs Tyson though, no matter how much I want to be.

Paul on points if he can carry Mike until the end, Zurdo on points and Serrano KO

Malik Scott, Roy Jones and Angel Fernandez are probably the 3 worst high-profile trainers in Boxing. Every time they’re in a fighter’s corner I feel more confident backing the opponent. Barring another set of stupid scorecards based on pure front foot pressure over punches landed, I think CBS will get over the line. Him and McGuigan have a special relationship and tactically they seem to be very good at adapting with gameplans and in-fight adjustments.

Really good points made here, Malik Scott doesn’t rate British fighters but got absolutely leathered by Chisora who wasn’t even a elite level British heavyweight

Malik Scott is known for 3 things: 1. Diving in round 1 against his mate Deontay wilder 2. Being a boring fighter with no heart 3. Ruining Wilder’s career and getting him hurt while masquerading as a trainer

In regards to Barry’s point about the weight for Taylor Serrano, did I read somewhere it’s a 138lb catchweight?

Serrano will definitely get the Win against Taylor because they are already talking about a 3rd fight at Croke Park in Ireland and for that to sell and work they have to go into that as 1 -1 and for it to be a Decider and probably Taylors last fight before she retires and the whole of Ireland will come out to support her and it might and could be near 100,000 sell out with extra seating put on the pitch area

As big a fan of CBS than anyone, but I reckon Zurdo wins by decision. Serrano is on the decline and up another weight so would say a comfortable Taylor UD and Paul to obviously stop someone who is 58 and not exactly in optimum health (it seems). Although probs won't go too hard and rhtey have 14 oz on? Still can't believe CBS is fighting for a Unified Cruiserweight title..wow, it's incredible what he/Shane has done from that Glover KO..what a story.

Fair points on all, however I very much believe that if taylor serrano is close it is goong to go to serrano, gonna be a big trilogy fight in Dublin, that wanker jake paul already saying this will happen in Dublin, him and Eddie have court case, it's mvp promotion in America.. and tbh eddie would probably love katie to lose the the trilogy in Dublin as if katie wins no one else to fight..

The Hail Mary outcome where Tyson chins Paul and everyone gets to see the boy humbled is the only thing that would make it palatable, realistically that isn’t going to happen. But what Clarke is saying about Paul v Tyson fight is that he’ll be happier that it’s fixed, a ‘con job’ over it being a legit fight that could end with Tyson KO’ed. It’s probably the best argument for not giving this freak show any time of day on a boxing podcast. Surely it’s not in the interest of the sport to discuss why something would be best if it was corrupt and prearranged. Just ignore it’s even happening would be my take.

what about if lennox lewis (59 years old now) fought jake paul?
@donttouchyerbumnsniffit
@donttouchyerbumnsniffit 8 күн бұрын
Lewis (in any decent shape) would be a much harder task simply due to his size. Lewis is 6'5 compared to Tyson at 5'10. So even if he didn't have any movement or stamina Jake would need to get past his tall stance and jab. Tyson is a small come forward heavyweight, which requires a lot of work rate, whereas Lewis could fight like the 90's version of Foreman and at least last the distance.

1, CBS takes a loss possibly stopped on cuts 2, even with all the gear Tyson is on he will be fecked after a couple bursts of combinations , and likley KOd in the 1st or 2nd round 3 , Taylor takes her first loss , possibly stopped on her feet

As for predictions CBS to make it ugly, finish very strong but lose on a controversial SD Serrano 6-4 or 7-3 against a fading Taylor who starts quick but loses her shape after 5 and doesn't get those crucial late bursts to sway the judges

If you guys think Jake is not a real boxer, then surely the skill difference is too big and Tyson wipes the floor with him? We got to give Jake his credit for a “KZbinr” to even get in there with Tyson let alone be the favourite to win. Jake Paul by decision Cus I think he’ll ease off if Mike Tyson is badly hurt
@ace8ball391
@ace8ball391 8 күн бұрын
Joke comment, he's the favour to win because he is 31 years younger, what do you mean we need to give him credit for getting in there with tyson? He's an old man, it's a disgusting spectacle and sadly jp will probably win simply because of the massive age difference, it proves absolutely nothing. We all know if tyson was in his prime jp wouldn't last 30 seconds and then you could give him credit for getting in there with Tyson.
