i love this hat so much and i’m very appreciative tht you’ve shared how to make it but i just wish you explained more of the steps and didn’t rush through it. as a beginner it was very difficult for me to follow along and i feel like ive had to guess on multiple steps which led to a lot restarting. i also would’ve loved if you showed the process of putting all of the pieces together

This is an old video but um, Im at the earflaps and i realized my beanie is really small, like its not even a beanie, did i do something wrong? edit: I used a 4 MM hook though so that might be the problem? And in that case should i just do more rows?

I'm a beginner crocheter! For me personally I didn't really like the working into the round part on the ears because I don't really like estimating and stuff and prefer exact amounts An alternative for this is as follows 7 SC into MR INC every ST HDC for 5 Rounds This is just my preference and if somebody else feels the same I hope this helps!! :D

I used all loops & threads yarn which is almost 400 yards a skein. So one skein of yellow, black, and white! But for black and white you really won’t need much 😋

No, after that one row of increase, you’ll stop and just single crochet around!

You can sew them closed first and then sew it on to the hat OR you can just sew them straight on to the hat! Just make sure they’re flat and start sewing 🙇‍♀️

Not necessarily, BUT I’m using size 4/ worsted weight yarn with a 5.00 mm hook. If you were to use a thinner yarn I’d say just use a bigger hook 🙇‍♀️
