Bill was a regular weekly customer at my business. He was actually one of my favorite customers. I hadn’t seen him since about beginning of Dec. He was very nice and he always held his wife’s hand as he walked through our store. I didnt know he used to be a pro wrestler; he never mentioned it. My co worker said Bill did mention he suffered from CTE. 🙏🏻 prayers out to Bill and his family

When I was a kid growing up in Australia in the 80s and 90s, one of the American TV shows we would get weekly was Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack. And one of the stories from that show, the boys on the train tracks in Arkansas in August 1987 for some reason always stayed in my memory. Imagine my shock years later when, also being a long time wrestling fan, seeing a shoot interview with Billy Jack Haynes and him telling that he was there that night in AK as muscle for the Mesa drug runners and that while he didn't kill the boys himself ... he was actually the one who put their dead bodies on the tracks for the train to run over.

Let's get real here. I'm not buying Jake the Snake here because Jake and the snake only looks out for Jake the Snake. I love him but he is not one to speak on this issue. Billy Jack Haines has been in love with his wife his entire life and this was a crime of mercy. They had a deal worked out and he did what he needed to do. People have the right to go out the way that they want to and the government should not intervene and that is actually the law of quite a many country. It may not be here in America but that doesn't mean we can't fix it and that doesn't mean when 12 jurors get in that box they can't exercise their power and let this man go home and mourn his wife as he sees fits. What happens between them in their elder years of marriage is between them.

I don't think Billy Jack was inherently a bad guy. He spoke about mercy-killing his father when he was immobile and blind. I think in some sick twisted way, Billy Jack actually thought he was 'helping' his demented wife, which obviously isn't something a normal person would do. However, he never struck me as a psychopath until his later years; as a younger man he was a caring person and even polite, from what footage shows. Aging is a bitch, not everyone can do it gracefully.

The real reason Jake didnt feel safe around Billy, was because Billy refused to smoke crack with him. So he thought Billy was an undercover cop.
