Jim’s one of the best to listen to. NFL to old school pro wrestling. Duggan was a legit tough dude. Seems like he did quite good for him and his family. Stay healthy and keep the good stories coming. 👍🏻

I’m glad Hacksaw is doing this podcast. He has great stories that I could listen to all day. I’ve met him and seen the way he interacts with fans and he’s always nice and gives you his attention. His wife is really nice too and I love that they travel together to events and that she helps out at shows and events.

The Portland territory produces THE most old school wrestling mentality. Kayfabe wasn't just for the show. Go down the list of alumni. Dr D is probably the only real psycho I can think of from that era that wasn't in some way from Portland.

Dr D wrestled for Don Owen occasionally. I know Very part time deal though. Shultz traveled a lot.

As a kid I loved Duggan. Still have foam 2×4 frm live event. But n my teens I grew to hate Duggan. And after watching Duggan tour his house and wrstljng room and this. I BLAME WCW AND WWF WRITERS. IF WE CUD OF GOT THE REAL JIM ON TV HE WUD OF BEEN 1 OF GREATEST BABY FACES OF ALL TIME

There definitely is a hollow look in Billy Jack Haynes eyes, like something is just off. I certainyl sympathize for him because i know his childhood was deeply traumatic. but like Duggan said, he was a guy you could tell could just flip from one moment to the next.
@Hans-be6sm4 ай бұрын
After Billy Jack tried to run his promotion and lost all that money he went bonkers and into drugs for years (if he was not before). I mean no disrespect, He was at one time one of the greatest performers in the professional wrestling business. Big, Strong, had the body and could move like a Tiger. But his personal life was just too heavy. They called him Billy Whack Haynes.... You know anyone can suffer a mental breakdown.... Its just sad that he did not get help and ended up doing what he did eventually.

No Billy Jack age is always been crazy ! But he was the kind of crazy that has a super long buildup to someone who has hurt him emotionally!? That's a big difference from a drugged up crazy or absolutely a snap on the second crazy because they'll wind up.

Jim is always great to listen too. The generation of wrestlers is what i grew up on. Wild guys. BJH is definitely not someone to F with. He did time for aceing someone off with his barehands. Iron mike sharpe and barry windham learned that the hard way
@tclem206911 ай бұрын
WOW!!! You know Billy Jack personally? That’s awesome. And you got to see him fight Mike Sharp and Barry Windham. Even cooler. Unless of course you are just telling 4th, 5th, 6th hand stories of better men. I wonder which it is.
